Far-right influencer Nick Fuentes is facing a misdemeanor battery charge after a woman accused him of pepper spraying her and pushing her down the front steps of his Berwyn home last month. Marla Rose filed the criminal complaint last week against Fuentes, who was arrested, fingerprinted and released Nov. 27, according to documents filed Wednesday with the Cook County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. The complaint alleges that Fuentes, 26, “knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature” with Rose, a 57-year-old writer and co-founder of a vegan lifestyle website. She previously told the Sun-Times the Nov. 10 encounter happened as she approached Fuentes’ front door to confront him about a social media post after the presidential election in which Fuentes declared, “Your body, my choice. Forever,” in reference to abortion rights. Rose said she decided to go to Fuentes’ home after his address leaked online and she realized they both live in Berwyn. Before Rose could ring the doorbell, Fuentes opened the door and allegedly sprayed her with what she thinks was pepper spray. Rose recorded the incident on her phone, which Fuentes then allegedly grabbed and took into his home. Berwyn police later retrieved it. Fuentes, a white supremacist and Holocaust denier who has praised Adolf Hitler, is a Lyons Township High School graduate. He’s previously dined with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Fuentes hung up on a reporter Friday afternoon. He alluded to his arrest in social media posts, including one apparently of his own mugshot . In a statement last month, Fuentes said: “Don’t show up at somebody’s front door looking to cause problems.” Rose said in an email that she is also planning to file civil litigation against Fuentes. She couldn’t immediately be reached for further comment. Fuentes’ first court date is scheduled for Dec. 19 in Maywood.

Al-Shaair is already missing out on $338k as a result of his three-game suspension , and the impact in 2025 could be far greater. Language in his three-year, $34M deal with the Texans voids the guarantee on his $9M base salary next season if the linebacker is suspended for more than two games due to an “on-the-field football act,” per CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones . Al-Shaair’s suspension was upheld on appeal, voiding next year’s guarantees and giving Houston the option to release him after this season with cap savings of $9M and a dead cap hit of $2.2M in 2025. However, Houston seems unlikely to take that path, especially after Texans general manager Nick Caserio backed his player and blasted the suspension as “embarrassing” last week. Al-Shaair remains in the team’s plans, per Jones, meaning that he should still be able to earn all $9M of his 2025 base salary. The Texans are not able to unilaterally reinstate the guarantees, even if they want to. They could try to leverage the situation into a contract renegotiation with Al-Shaair by offering him more guaranteed money in return for a pay cut, but doing so would risk ruining his relationship with the franchise. Instead, Houston is most likely to keep Al-Shaair on the roster with his contract untouched, allowing him to collect his full $9M salary next year to nullify the impact of the voided guarantees. On top of that, there's now a whole new and separate Lego Fortnite offering to explore: Brick Life, a colourful mash-up of gameplay that feels like a family friendly GTA Online mixed with The Sims. So what we really needed to find was one calling out the genre you'd expect to find when launching [the old] Lego Fortnite. Odyssey came about because that's what players love the most - the adventures. The adventure play is the most loved part of that game and we've dialled up that with the Storm King. The former Colorado pitcher announced the news on social media on Saturday. Davis has pitched in the majors in each of the last three seasons. That included a career-high nine outings for the Rockies this year. Davis tossed 20 1/3 innings of 5.85 ERA ball with a below-average 15.6% strikeout rate. The 6’2′′ righty owns a 7.71 earned run average across 51 1/3 frames in his major league career. He has started six of 18 appearances. The UC Santa Barbara product has also worked in a swing role at the Triple-A level. Davis has started 23 of 34 outings for the Rockies’ top minor league team. He has a 5.06 ERA across 133 1/3 innings in the Pacific Coast League. Davis has fanned just under 20% of batters faced against a higher than average 11.3% walk percentage. While the numbers aren’t especially impressive at either stop, Davis has had the misfortune of pitching in difficult environments. He averaged nearly 94 MPH on his sinker in a multi-inning role for the Rox. That hasn’t resulted in huge swinging strike or ground-ball numbers.
