TWO more celebrities have been booted out of the jungle tonight – with just days before the final. Alan Halsall and GK Barry said goodbye to their campmates after being told they had narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-final by Ant and Dec. Just four celebs now remain and they will be taking on the celebrity cyclone ahead of someone being crowned king or queen of the jungle this weekend. They are Coleen Rooney, Richard Coles, Danny Jones and Oti Mabuse. Dancing on Ice judge Oti won a ticket to Celebrity Cyclone and immunity from eviction yesterday after beating Danny Jones , Maura Higgins and Coleen Rooney in a trial. The news didn’t go down well with those watching at home, with many particularly upset about losing GK. One person commented: “I'm sick at who went home tonight. she should be there instead of colleen sorry.” A second added: “SO gutted GK Barry is gone. Colleen is nice and all but this series wouldn’t have been the same without GK! Absolutely robbed of the final in my opinion.” And a third said: “This has been a good series but how has the UK voted out the two most entertaining people within the space of 24 hours.” Speaking after her exit, TikTok star GK said: "I can’t believe I looked like that on television." Asked how she found it, she told Ant and Dec: "It was worse, it was so difficult. I thought it would be tanning, a few trials. But that was hell, I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through that." Yesterday the camp were left gobsmacked as they said goodbye to boxing champ Barry McGuigan, known as the Clones Cyclone, who was booted out with Love Island star Maura. They follow Jane Moore, Dean McCullough, Tulisa Contostavlos, and Melvin Odoom in leaving the camp. It was a highly emotional episode this evening as the stars were reunited with their loved ones. Coleen was stunned to see Kit, eight, and six-year-old Cass along with her mum Colette McLoughlin in the Aussie jungle. They were snuck in by producers for a special friends and families reunion episode after spending nearly four weeks apart – leaving her in floods of tears. McFly singer Danny Jones, 38, embraced wife Georgia , 37, and their six-year-old son Cooper, while Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse , 34, had a reunion with husband Marius Iepure, 42. i'm A Celebrity is back for its 24th series, with a batch of famous faces living in the Aussie jungle. The Sun's Jake Penkethman takes a look at the stars on the show this year.. Coleen Rooney - Arguably the most famous name in the camp, the leading WAG, known for her marriage to Wayne Rooney , has made a grand return to TV as she looks to put the Wagatha Christie scandal behind her. The Sun revealed the mum-of-four had bagged an eye-watering deal worth over £1.5million to be on the show this year making her the highest-paid contestant ever. Tulisa - The popstar and former X Factor judge has made her triumphant TV comeback by signing up to this year's I'm A Celeb after shunning TV shows for many years. Known for being a member of the trio, N-Dubz, Tulisa became a household name back in 2011 when she signed on to replace Cheryl on ITV show The X Factor in a multi-million pound deal. Alan Halsall - The actor, known for playing the long-running role of Tyrone Dobbs on ITV soap opera Coronation Street, was originally signed up to head Down Under last year but an operation threw his scheduled appearance off-course. Now he has become the latest Corrie star to win over both the viewers and his fellow celebrities. Melvin Odoom - The Radio DJ has become a regular face on TV screens after rising to fame with presenting roles on Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1 and 4Music. Melvin has already been for a spin on the Strictly dancefloor and co-hosted The Xtra Factor with Rochelle Humes in 2015 but now he is facing up to his biggest challenge yet - the Aussie jungle . GK Barry - The UK's biggest social media personality, GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, has transformed her TikTok stardom into a lucrative career. Aside from her popular social media channels, she hosts the weekly podcast, Saving Grace, and regularly appears on ITV talk show, Loose Women. She has even gone on to endorse popular brands such as PrettyLittleThing, KFC and Ann Summers. Dean McCullough - A rising star amongst this year's bunch of celebs , Dean first achieved notability through his radio appearances on Gaydio and BBC Radio 1. He was chosen to join the BBC station permanently in 2021 and has featured prominently ever since. He has enjoyed a crossover to ITV over the past year thanks to his guest slots on Big Brother spin-off show, Late & Live. Oti Mabuse - The pro dancer has signed up to her latest TV show after making her way through the biggest programmes on the box. She originally found fame on Strictly Come Dancing but has since branched out into the world of TV judging with appearances on former BBC show The Greatest Dancer as well as her current role on ITV's Dancing On Ice . Danny Jones - The McFly star was drafted into the programme last minute as a replacement for Tommy Fury. Danny is the second member of McFly to enter the jungle , after Dougie Poynter won the show in 2011. He is also considered a rising star on ITV as he's now one of the mentors on their Saturday night talent show, The Voice , along with bandmate Tom Fletcher. Jane Moore - The Loose Women star and The Sun columnist is braving the creepy crawlies this year. The star is ready for a new challenge - having recently split from her husband . It will be Jane's first foray into reality TV with the telly favourite having always said no to reality shows in the past. Barry McGuigan - Former pro boxer Barry is the latest fighting champ to head Down Under following in the footsteps of Tony Bellew and Amir Khan. It comes after a tough few years for Irish star Barry, who lost his daughter Danika to bowel cancer . He told The Late Late Show in 2021: "She was such an intrinsic part of the family that every day we ache." Maura Higgins - The Irish TV beauty first found fame on Love Island where she found a brief connection with dancer Curtis Pritchard . Since then, she has competed on Dancing On Ice as well as hosting the Irish version of the beauty contest, Glow Up. Since last year, she has been working on building up her career in the US by being the social media correspondent and host of Aftersun to accompany Love Island USA. She even guest hosted an episode of the spin-off, Love Island Games, in place of Maya Jama last year. Rev. Richard Coles - Former BBC radio host the Rev Richard Coles is a late arrival on I’m A Celebrity , and he's ready to spill the beans on his former employer. The former Communards and Strictly star , said the BBC did not know its a**e from its elbow last year. An insider said: "Rev Coles will have a variety of tales to tell from his wild days as a pop star in the Eighties, through to performing on Strictly and his later life as a man of the cloth."US stocks surge to records, shrugging off upheaval in South Korea, France

Biden is considering preemptive pardons for officials and allies before Trump takes officeFile photo: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Picture credit: AP) Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate in the recent presidential election, opened up about the Democratic ticket’s loss in his first interview with local Minnesota media. Speaking with KSTP-TV, Walz admitted he was taken aback by the results, noting, “I was a little surprised we lost. I thought we had a positive message, and I thought the country was ready for that.” Walz reflected on the momentum he felt on the campaign trail, stating, “It felt like at the rallies, at the things I was going to, the shops I was going in, that the momentum was going our way. And it obviously wasn’t at the end.” His remarks come after the Democrats faced a significant electoral defeat, with Donald Trump reclaiming the presidency and Republicans gaining control of the Senate while maintaining a House majority. Self-reflection and campaign dynamics Walz candidly addressed the challenges the campaign faced, saying, “Are there things you could’ve done differently? Since we lost, the answer is obviously yes. On this one, I did the best I could.” As per The New York Times, Walz expressed disbelief at Trump’s appeal to middle-class voters, remarking, “To have Donald Trump seen as a champion of the middle class, I fully don’t see how that would happen, but I recognise that’s where people voted.” He avoided directly critiquing Harris or her campaign strategy, instead focusing on the broader political landscape. “I think we have to decide: is the message the right one?” he said in an interview with WCCO-TV. Looking ahead Since the election, Walz has shifted his focus back to state governance. According to KSTP-TV, Minnesota’s House of Representatives is now evenly split at 67-67, setting the stage for a challenging legislative session. Walz expressed optimism about working with the new dynamics, stating, “Coming back here now and having the privilege to be able to continue to do this work feels really good.” The governor also reminisced about campaign highlights, including the moment Harris introduced him as her running mate at Temple University. “She turns to me, and she says, ‘Well, let’s not screw this up,’ and we went out there,” he recalled to KMSP-TV. Though Walz remains uncertain about his political future, including whether he will seek a third gubernatorial term in 2026, his reflections suggest a leader ready to adapt and move forward. As he told KSTP-TV, “I think we made an impact, but the voters have spoken.”Adani Enterprises Ltd , the flagship company of the ports-to-energy conglomerate helmed by billionaire Gautam Adani, is likely to see consolidated revenue grow at a CAGR of 17.5 per cent and net earnings by 45.8 per cent over 2023-24 fiscal year (FY24) and FY27, a report said. The holiday hiatus offers a natural moment for reflection. The Colorado men’s basketball team isn’t anywhere near where it hopes to be when the calendar reaches March. Yet at the end of nonconference play, with the Buffaloes’ first Big 12 Conference game in nearly 13 years officially one week away as of Monday, head coach Tad Boyle is pleased with the progress his club has made since tipping off his 15th season at CU on Nov. 4. Offensively, the Buffs are shooting well, owning a .472 overall field goal percentage alongside a .372 mark from long range. CU (9-2) has shared the ball well, averaging 17 assists per game while gradually lowering its turnover rate. The Buffs averaged an untenable 18.3 turnovers through the season’s first three games but have averaged 12.6 in the eight games since, matching a season-low with 10 in three of the past four games. Defensively, the Buffs have surrendered enough good looks along the perimeter to allow four of their 11 opponents to make at least 11 3-pointers, but CU’s overall defensive 3-point percentage of .309 is a number the Buffs would be stoked to maintain during Big 12 play. The rebounding has been a group effort — team leader Trevor Baskin averages 6.5 rebounds per game — but the Buffs have posted an average rebounding margin of plus-5.5. “I think we’ve made progress in a lot of areas on both sides of the ball, offensively and defensively,” Boyle said. “We’ve shown in stretches we can really guard, and we can really defend. That we understand the scouting report and play for each other. I think offensively, we share the ball. We had 22 assists (against Bellarmine) and 10 turnovers. We’ve done a better job of taking care of the ball here lately. Now, that will be tested sorely our first conference game. “But I think we’ve gotten better in a lot of areas. I really do. I still worry about our rebounding when we play a big, physical team. That’s going to be the ultimate test. The one thing you have to understand in conference play, you don’t know where the next win’s coming from. So you’d better try to win the one right in front of you. Which for us right now is Iowa State on December 30th. We know that’s not going to be easy.” Weekly honors Texas Tech’s Darrion Williams was named the Big 12 player of the week on Monday, while Arizona State freshman Jayden Quaintance collected the newcomer of the week honor. Williams recorded 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win against Lamar, adding 10 points, nine assists and four rebounds earlier in the week against Oral Roberts. Quaintance was named the MVP of the Springfield Basketball Hall of Fame Classic as ASU topped Massachusetts. Quaintance posted his third double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds, adding four blocked shots. Notable Iowa State remained the front-runner among the Big 12 schools in the Associated Press Top 25, maintaining its spot at No. 3 in the latest poll released on Monday. Kansas moved up one spot to No. 7, Houston held steady at No. 15, Cincinnati moved up two spots to No. 17, and Baylor rejoined the poll at No. 25. ... With little movement expected over the holiday week, CU began the week on Monday ranked at No. 77 in the NET and at KenPom.com.Delhi registers drop in air pollution, records 'moderate' air quality after weeks

Trump considers DeSantis for the Pentagon with Hegseth under pressure over a series of allegationsBYU linebacker Isaiah Glasker provided a memorable moment in the Cougars' commanding 36-14 victory over Colorado in the Alamo Bowl , intercepting top NFL Draft prospect Shedeur Sanders and mimicking his father Deion Sanders' famous dance. The celebration added to Colorado's woes as BYU concluded their 11-2 season. Glasker intercepted Sanders during the penultimate drive of the game, sealing BYU's win. After the interception, Glasker performed Coach Prime's signature footwork dance, made famous during his Hall of Fame career with the Dallas Cowboys, right in front of the Colorado players. Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders end Colorado careers on sour note Bryce Underwood turns heads at first Michigan practice after alarming NIL deal The move set social media ablaze, with BYU's official channels posting the video captioned, "Nice dance moves," which quickly amassed over 19,000 views. Despite Shedeur throwing a late 2-yard touchdown pass to Sav'ell Smalls with two minutes left, it was too little too late. BYU's dominance across all aspects of the game ensured a decisive victory, leaving Colorado without any answers. The Cougars outperformed the Buffaloes with 331 total yards of offense, including a 64-yard punt return touchdown by Parker Kingston. Their defense contained Colorado, limiting them to just 210 total yards, including a mere two rushing yards. BYU's victory marked their second 11-win season under head coach Kalani Sitake, solidifying a strong campaign for the No.17-ranked Cougars. The internet had mixed reactions to Glasker's celebration. The audacity of the celebration sparked mixed reactions, with a fan commenting, "Hit the celly in front of Deion Sanders after picking off Shedeur Sanders. Legend status." Nonetheless, the incident became an iconic part of the match. For Glasker, the sophomore linebacker, this was yet another standout moment in a season that saw him receive Honorable Mention All-American accolades from Sports Illustrated and All-Big 12 First Team recognition from the College Football Network. Despite his team's defeat, Shedeur Sanders is still seen as a top-three prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft, with many expecting him to be the first pick by the New York Giants. Before the match, Sanders hinted at his possible future with the Giants through custom cleats, though he chose standard team colors on the day of the game. Sanders concluded his last college season with impressive stats: 3,926 passing yards, 35 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions. Despite the Alamo Bowl loss, his prospects for the NFL remain undimmed as he gears up for the 2025 NFL Combine and Draft. For BYU, their victory was a testament to their program's resilience, countering what some believed to be biased media favoritism towards the Buffs before the game began. As for Glasker, his provocative dance may well become one of the most memorable acts of his college football tenure.
