Modi, known for his preference for privacy, is recognized by many familiar faces in India's business world as a trusted ally of billionaire Mukesh Ambani. Updated: December 15, 2024 8:03 PM IST By Edited by Most of the people that make headlines around the success of Reliance Chaimran Mukesh Ambani are either their close family members or distant relatives but here is a story about a man who is called the ‘right-hand’ of Mukesh Ambani. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani has a trusted hand in whom he saw the spirit trust and loyalty. We are talking about Manoj Modi, the Director at Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio. Here are all the details you need to know about the man who is reportedly consulted by Mukesh Ambani before every big decision. Manoj Modi and Reliance Group Modi started working with Reliance when Mukesh Ambani’s father, Dhirubhai Ambani, was at the helm of the affairs. However, the relationship of Manoj Modi and Mukesh Ambani go way back to their college days, where they were studying at Mumbai University’s Department of Chemical Technology. Their long-lasting friendship took a professional turn in the early ’80s when Modi started to work at Reliance, under the stewardship of Dhirubhai Ambani. Role of Manoj Modi in major Reliance deals Modi, known for his preference for privacy, is recognized by many familiar faces in India’s business world as a trusted ally of billionaire Mukesh Ambani. For those unversed, Modi played a significant role in the talks that led to a gigantic $5.7 billion contract with Facebook Inc. in April. Stand by Ambani’s side, Modi assisted his family in sealing the deal with this renowned social media firm, as per individuals acquainted with the matter. Modi maintains a tight-knit relationship with Mukesh and his wife Nita Ambani. Currently, he’s often seen working with the new generation of the Ambani family, specifically Mukesh’s children, Akash and Isha Ambani. “It’s not a company that advertises its organizational structure but the industry knows that Ambani and Modi are a strongly-bonded team — and together drive deal negotiation and relentless execution to the last level of detail,” Vani Kola, managing director of venture capital firm, Kalaari Capital Partners, who requested Manoj Modi to make a rare public appearance last year, was quoted saying in a report by Livemint. Reports also have it that Modi’s impact on RIL extends beyond administrative roles. He has been a key figure in monumental projects such as the Hazira petrochemical complex, the Jamnagar refinery, and the ambitious rollout of Reliance Jio, among others. Education Minister and Deputy Premier Ben Carroll. Credit: Eddie Jim John Pesutto’s position as leader of the opposition, and indeed as alternative premier is completely in shreds today, and his position is untenable. He needs to resign and do the right thing by all Victorians. Resign today as leader of the opposition ... give an apology to Moira Deeming, and give an apology to all Victorians that he said all along that he didn’t have a case to answer for. He has no scrap of any integrity today, and he needs to do the right thing and resign. Carroll also called on deputy David Southwick to resign for sitting on his secret tape of the leadership meeting with Deeming on March 19, 2023. “The leadership of the Victorian Liberal Party is today in crisis, and it is untenable, and they both need to resign.” 8.21am Did Pesutto break a compromise agreement? There was a dispute through the trial over whether Opposition Leader John Pesutto had agreed to exonerate Moira Deeming and release a joint statement in the compromise meeting from March 27, 2023. Pesutto rejected that he broke this agreement and said she was never owed a full exoneration as part of the deal, nor that he was going to release a statement with her. Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto (left). Credit: Luis Enrique Ascui He said his office was going to assist her in releasing her own statement. This is what the Federal Court has found: I do not accept that Mr Pesutto was untruthful about that. Mrs Deeming’s understanding of the expression ‘joint statement’ is inherently a more likely one, but I accept Mr Pesutto’s evidence that that is not what he subjectively understood he had agreed to. There was also a dispute about whether the parties’ intermediaries also agreed that Mrs Deeming was entitled to a ‘full exoneration’, and that Mr Pesutto also reneged on that deal. The witnesses, to be sure, had different recollections about the matter, but I am not satisfied that any meeting of minds occurred to that effect. As Mr Pesutto said in his second affidavit, if Mrs Deeming was to be fully exonerated there would have been no need for a nine month suspension. 8.14am Watch live: Moira Deeming press conference at 12.15pm Advertisement 8.13am ‘I am grateful to God’: Deeming celebrates decision Moira Deeming has released a statement, saying that she is “grateful to God” for the outcome. She thanked her lawyers and the court. “The judge found that I was defamed in five separate publications and that each of those also caused serious harm to my reputation,” she wrote on X. Moira Deeming wore purple during the trial, a colour historically associated with efforts to achieve gender equality. Credit: The Age Every single one of Mr Pesutto’s defences, failed. “This judgment is a public acknowledgment that there was never any justification – legal, moral or political – for what the Opposition Leader did to me and to my family. The organisers and attendees of the 2023 Melbourne ‘Let Women Speak’ Rally did nothing wrong and it is shameful that they were treated without fairness or respect by so many in public office. I will continue to fight for the rights of parents, women and children - and I know I won’t be alone. I am pleased with this result and relieved to have been vindicated. It has been an incredibly tough 22 months for me and my family but I can now start to move forward with the judgment today clearing my name. Thank you to everyone who stood by me and defended me despite personal and political differences and regardless of the cost – friends, strangers, opponents, Liberal members and colleagues. Thanks to everyone who prayed, wrote, donated and told the truth. And finally, thank you to my family, especially my husband. 8.08am Former shadow minister calls for resignation Former shadow attorney general Tim Smith has called for Opposition Leader John Pesutto to resign. John Pesutto and Moira Deeming. Credit: Darrian Traynor Justice David O’Callaghan found the defences either failed, or did not arise. However, he wrote in his lengthy reasons that he was satisfied the Opposition Leader did “subjectively” believe what he published was in the public interest. “I accept Mr Pesutto’s evidence that he subjectively believed that it was necessary immediately to explain to the public why he proposed to move a motion to expel Mrs [Moira] Deeming,” the judge wrote. “I also accept Mr Pesutto’s evidence that he thought staying silent was not an option and that he needed to address the issue to retain credibility because the public would be watching to see how the party responded to the presence of Nazis on the steps of Parliament.” The judge criticised Pesutto for “time and time again” giving lengthy and non-responsive answers to questions asked of him by Deeming’s barrister, Sue Chrysanthou, SC. “I understand that when politicians are engaged in the cut and thrust of politics – facing tough questions in press conferences, for example – their job can involve deflecting questions, pivoting to another topic, or running out the clock,” the judge wrote. “But that is not the role of a witness in a court proceeding.” Chrysanthou argued Pesutto was an untruthful witness in many aspects of his evidence. “Ultimately, however, I am unable to conclude that he gave dishonest evidence about his subjective belief on the public interest question, as infuriatingly unresponsive as much of his evidence was,” O’Callaghan wrote. Advertisement 7.54am A ‘mystifying’ decision and a ‘dubious’ explanation Justice David O’Callaghan said it was “extraordinary” that both Opposition Leader John Pesutto and deputy David Southwick had failed to mention a secret recording of the March 19, 2023, meeting held the day after the rally. Southwick secretly recorded the meeting and informed Pesutto months later. Pesutto only raised it with his lawyers a week before the trial began. As it turns out, no witness’s account of the meeting in their affidavits was anywhere near accurate or complete. Both parties invited me to draw adverse inferences against each relevant deponent for having failed to give an accurate account of it. Each witness might be said to varying degrees to have provided their own slant to things, and to have recorded their memories through the prism of their own cause, but I do not accept that any witness gave a deliberately untruthful version of the meeting in their affidavits. O’Callaghan also said it was “mystifying” Southwick kept the recording secret so long and that Pesutto’s explanation was “dubious.” 7.49am Who is celebrity lawyer Sue Chrysanthou? For Sue Chrysanthou, celebrity lawyer, today’s decision is another notch in her defamation belt. The Sydney silk has become the barrister du jour in the defamation capital of the world, representing everyone from actors to moguls with reputations to rescue. Moira Deeming arriving in court this morning to hear the judgment in her defamation hearing. Credit: AAP He awarded Deeming $300,000 in damages after Opposition Leader John Pesutto defamed her. Court costs are yet to be determined, and will be decided upon at a later date, which is yet to be set. “The only order that will be made today upon the publication of these reasons is to adjourn the matter to a date to be fixed for the purpose of the parties bringing in orders to give effect to the published reasons and to deal with any argument as to the grant of any injunctive relief, and as to the calculation of interests and costs,” the judge wrote. Stock market today: Wall Street gains ground as it notches a winning week and another Dow recordNew Delhi: The great-grandson of ‘Veer’ Savarkar, Ranjit Savarkar, on Sunday, December 15 shared his views regarding the mention of freedom fighter and nationalist Veer Savarkar by Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha . He also opened up on “the world’s greatest honey trap.” Given that Rahul Gandhi has been lately repeatedly making personal comments on Savarkar, Ranjit Savarkar said that he does it to polarise Muslim votes, as Savarkar was a pioneer of Hindutva. “He wants to prove that Savarkar was a Manuvadi. He thinks if he talks bad about Savarkar, Muslims will vote for him,” he said, adding, “I think the comments and false narratives will continue.” Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, had said in the House on Saturday, “When you speak about defending the Constitution, you are ridiculing Savarkar; you are abusing Savarkar; you are defaming Savarkar.” Speaking about who struck a deal with the British, Savarkar or Nehru, he maintained that it was Nehru who compromised for power and to keep relations cordial with Britain, before recounting the course of events on the eve of Independence. “It’s about being an agent [of the British],” he said, adding that Nehru betrayed the nation for power. Explaining further, he pointed to letters in the book ‘Daughter of Empire: My Life as a Mountbatten,’ written by Lord Mountbatten’s daughter Pamela Hicks. The book contains letters exchanged between her mother, Lady Mountbatten, and Nehru for 11 to 12 years after Independence. He mentioned that Mountbatten retained a position in India as its first Governor General (while Jinnah became the Governor General of the freshly carved Pakistan). In the letters to Lady Mountbatten, “only the first and the last paragraphs used to be romantic; the rest was Nehru’s diary,” he said. He called this exercise “the world’s greatest honey trap operation—making the Prime Minister your agent for 12 years as all important information was going to Lady Mountbatten.” The Chairman of Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak, Ranjit Savarkar, was recently accused of deeming Mahatma Gandhi a casteist. He explained that Gandhi advocated the caste system, that one must adhere to the occupation of their respective caste, and he interpreted this as a denial of opportunities to an individual outside their caste-based occupation. “The Constitution gives us the right to choose our occupation,” he told IANS. Commenting on whether Ambedkar, Gandhi, and Savarkar are relevant in today’s politics, he maintained that Ambedkar and Savarkar have similar thoughts and are “most relevant” today; however, “Gandhi’s thoughts, today, are most irrelevant,” he concluded.

Road safety campaigns swing into action for New YearRemarry, Not ‘Marry Again’Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy has defended his 70-hour workweek comment, again. During a visit to Kolkata, which Mr Murthy described as "the most cultured place in the entire country", he said young people have to realise that "we have to work hard and work towards making India number one." "At Infosys, I said we will go to the best and compare ourselves with the best global companies. Once we compare ourselves with the best global companies, I can tell you we Indians have a lot to do. We have to set our aspirations high because 800 million Indians get free ration. That means 800 million Indians are in poverty. If we are not in a position to work hard, then who will work hard?" Mr Murthy said at the Indian Chamber of Commerce centenary launch. He was speaking to RPSG Group chairman Sanjiv Goenka. Recalling the experiences that motivated him to become an entrepreneur, Mr Murthy said he was at one point a Leftist, when Jawaharlal Nehru was Prime Minister and the Indian Institutes of Technology were made into a reality. "My father used to talk about the extraordinary progress that was happening in the country at the time and we were all sold on Nehru and socialism. I had the opportunity to work in Paris in the early 70s and I was confused. The West was talking about how filthy and corrupt India was. In my country there was poverty and the roads had potholes. "There (West), everyone was reasonably prosperous and trains ran on time and I thought this can't be wrong. I met the leader of the French Communist Party and he answered all my questions, but not to my satisfaction. "I realised the only way a country can fight poverty is by creating jobs that lead to disposable incomes. The government has absolutely no role in entrepreneurship. I also realised entrepreneurs build a nation as they create jobs, they create wealth for their investors and they pay taxes. "Therefore, if a country embraces capitalism, it will create good roads, good trains and good infrastructure. In a poor country like India where capitalism had not taken roots, I realised if I had to come back and experiment in entrepreneurship, then we have to embrace compassionate capitalism," Mr Murthy said. He said he was always excited to come to Kolkata. "In some way, this is the most cultured place in the entire country. When I think of Kolkata, I think of Rabindranath Tagore, Satyajit Ray, Subhash Chandra Bose, Amartya Sen and a host of other personalities." "I am very proud of the culture of our country which goes over 4,000 years. It shows how unbelievably generous this culture was... Embrace compassionate capitalism. It is practising capitalism while combining it with the best aspects of liberalism and socialism so that this country stands steadily as a stellar example of capitalism," Mr Murthy said. "Human beings can think and express. When God has given us the ability to think and this behoves us to think about people less fortunate than us. It is to make sure that the rest of the world respects India. The rest of the world respects India for performance. Performance leads to recognition, recognition leads to respect, respect leads to power. I wanted youngsters to know that we have a greater responsibility to fulfil the vision of our founding fathers. That's the reason why we all have to work hard. "A gentleman here told me a Chinese worker is 3.5 times more productive than an Indian. It is very easy for us to write all kinds of nonsense and remain wretched, filthy and poor and shunned by the world. Therefore, I don't think we should say we are all comfortable and I will not go to the office. My request to all the people assembled here is to dedicate their lives to realising their value," the billionaire said.

Bristol had high hopes of going top above their West Country rivals Bath, but Sale did not allow them any time or space on the ball and Bears’ trademark running game hit the buffers. The scrum-half Raffi Quirke set the tone when he breached Bristol’s defence inside three minutes, and the Sharks never looked back. Tom Roebuck added a second try before half-time, then the captain Ben Curry’s interception score sealed the deal midway through the third quarter, before Roebuck’s fellow wing Tom O’Flaherty secured a bonus point 14 minutes from time. The centre Rob du Preez kicked three penalties and three conversions, while their fly-half George Ford dropped a goal as Sale’s statement win served notice of their title credentials. “We know the threats they [Bristol] possess,” Sale’s defence coach, Byron McGuigan, told TNT Sports. “They are super-creative, so the theme for us this week was how do we cage the bear? We came up with a plan and it paid off. It is a massive credit to the players. “We had to be mentally focused, and we didn’t want to waste a minute this week. We had a clear plan to go after them. We knew we had to be at our best.” Curry said: “These are the games you want to play in. The rugby wasn’t perfect, but we showed real togetherness. We feel like we have something to prove, not just to ourselves, but to other people. That was a step in the right direction tonight.” Sale produced a lightning start, rocking Bristol when Quirke made a blistering break from 35m out to claim a superb solo touchdown that Du Preez converted. Bristol could not get going, and their cause was not helped midway through the first half when Harry Randall was shown a yellow card for pulling back the Sale hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie off the ball. Randall had barely left the pitch before Sharks extended their lead courtesy of impressive approach by their forwards that led to George Ford freeing Roebuck with a long pass, and he applied a simple finish. Du Preez’s conversion made it 17-0, before Bristol suffered another injury setback when their top try-scorer Gabriel Ibitoye went off due to an apparent hamstring problem. Ford then underlined Sale’s dominance by landing a drop goal as the visitors took a 20-point lead with them into the interval. Sign up to The Breakdown The latest rugby union news and analysis, plus all the week's action reviewed after newsletter promotion Bristol could find no way into the contest, and after Du Preez kicked a second penalty, Curry intercepted Fitz Harding’s speculative pass to cross from close range, and Du Preez’s conversion saw Sale hit 30 points. He completed his penalty hat-trick midway through the second period, and all Bristol could concentrate on was trying to break their points duck in a game that had seen them emphatically outplayed. Sale had other ideas as they raced to a five-point maximum in thrilling fashion when O’Flaherty broke clear from just outside his own 22, then linked with Quirke before finishing in style. Bristol were left to reflect on failing to score a point in a Premiership game for the first time since 2016.US missile defense system used for first time in Israel to intercept attack from Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen

Wall Street analysts rerated Gap, Inc GAP after the company reported upbeat third-quarter print Thursday. The company reported sales of $3.829 billion, beating analyst consensus of $3.812 billion. Earnings per share of 72 cents topped analyst estimates of 57 cents. Also Read: Amazon Strengthens Anthropic Partnership with $8 Billion AI Investment It now expects fiscal 2024 revenue of $15.124 billion – $15.198 billion, above the consensus of $14.956 billion. BMO Capital analyst Simeon Siegel maintained Gap with a Market Perform and raised the price target from $23 to $25 . Telsey Advisory Group analyst Dana Telsey reiterated Gap with a Market Perform and a $26 price target. BofA Securities analyst Lorraine Hutchinson maintained Gap with a Neutral and raised the price target from $25 to $28. Guggenheim analyst Robert Drbul reiterated a Buy rating on Gap with a price target of $35. BMO Capital: Gap reported third-quarter EPS that significantly exceeded expectations, with sales slightly surpassing estimates. Key drivers included robust gross margin improvement, supported by more substantial merchandise margins and ROD leverage. Banana Republic, Gap, and Athleta exceeded expectations, while Old Navy met projections despite weather-related challenges. Management highlighted market share gains across all brands and raised its guidance for full-year sales, gross margin, and EBIT growth. Old Navy sales were flat year-over-year, marking a moderation from prior quarters but maintaining momentum. Unseasonably warm weather impacted the performance of children’s apparel, but sales rebounded as weather patterns normalized. Gap Brand delivered its fourth consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales, growing 3% year-over-year, driven by strong product and marketing execution. Banana Republic experienced 2% year-over-year growth, with continued emphasis on improving fundamentals and success in the men’s category. Athleta achieved its most robust growth in two years, with sales increasing 4% year-over-year. New product launches and marketing resonated with customers, driving share gains. Gap’s gross margin reached 42.7%, exceeding the Street’s 42.1% estimate, with a 140-basis-point year-over-year expansion. 90-basis-point merchandise margin growth and operating leverage were key contributors. However, fourth-quarter gross margins are expected to remain flat when adjusted for ROD deleverage from calendar shifts. Telsey Advisory Group: Telsey provided a detailed assessment of Gap following its third-quarter earnings report. The company exceeded expectations across multiple metrics, reflecting strong operational discipline under its new leadership. Gap has demonstrated clear progress under its strategic focus on operational discipline, inventory efficiency, and brand portfolio growth. However, the analyst cautions that sustained consistency in performance and long-term profitability will be critical for investor confidence. The positive momentum in sales and profitability efforts suggests Gap is stabilizing its business and positioning itself for future growth. The price target is based on an 11.5x multiple of the two-year forward EPS estimate of $2.26. While this valuation is slightly below Gap’s historical average of 13.1x, it reflects the company’s ongoing challenges in a competitive retail environment. BofA Securities: Hutchinson highlighted its sales and margin performance while cautioning about future margin expansion. Gap delivered adjusted EPS of $0.72, outperforming Hutchinson’s estimate of $0.54 and the consensus projection of $0.57. The beat was supported by 1.6% sales growth, gross margin improvement, and effective SG&A management. Comps were positive at Athleta (+5%) and Gap (+3%). Management raised its fiscal 2024 guidance, reflecting the third-quarter outperformance. Hutchinson raised fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2025 EPS estimates by 9% and 5%, respectively, projecting $1.97 and $1.99. The analyst increased the price target to $28, based on a 6x 2025 estimated EV/EBITDA. Management raised its fiscal 2024 guidance for sales, gross margin, and operating income. Hutchinson expects gross margin to improve by 350 basis points compared to 2019, driven by reduced promotions and more vital full-price selling. However, Hutchinson highlighted that while Gap has achieved significant cost savings, management may prioritize reinvesting efficiencies into growth initiatives and inflation offsets rather than improving the bottom line. Hutchinson’s price target of $28 reflects a 6x 2025 estimated EV/EBITDA, consistent with peer averages. This valuation balances risks tied to Gap’s exposure to low-income consumers and freight costs against its turnaround potential and Athleta’s relatively more robust performance. While Hutchinson acknowledges the company’s improved sales trajectory, remains cautious on further margin growth. Guggenheim: Drbul highlighted the company’s earnings beat, strategic progress, and upwardly revised guidance. The quarter marked the company’s fourth consecutive quarter of top-line growth and seventh quarter of market share gains. Drbul values Gap at 15.2x 2025 EPS, a premium to its five-year average multiple of 12.5x, reflecting confidence in ongoing operational improvements and growth potential. He highlighted the strength of the Old Navy and Athleta brands as critical drivers, particularly noting Athleta’s position in an attractive apparel segment. With a ~3% dividend yield, Drbul views Gap shares as offering a compelling risk-reward profile supported by significant asset value and strategic optionality. Drbul’s price target underscores optimism about Gap’s ability to sustain its momentum, deliver margin expansion, and execute its reinvigoration initiatives successfully. Price Action: GAP stock is up 11.2% at $24.51 at last check Friday. Also Read: Snap Denies Child Exploitation Allegations, Wants Lawsuit Dismissed © 2024 Benzinga.com. PLASTIC surgery enthusiast Katie Price has unveiled her plans to get a fresh “bubble butt” in January. This will be the mum-of-five's THIRD Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), in which she'll have up to 800ml of dermal fillers pumped into her cheeks in pursuit of a rounder bottom. It might sound extreme, but it’s nothing she hasn't experienced before. The former glamour model , 46, has famously had hundreds of plastic surgery ops and aesthetic treatments over the years. Katie rose to fame as the outspoken Page 3 model, Jordan, and has spent the last nearly-three decades cementing her status as a British icon. From her slew of reality TV shows in the early Noughties, stints on I’m A Celeb and candid confessions on talk shows throughout the years, it’s unlikely that a single soul in Britain doesn’t know who she is. And as her celebrity grew, so did Katie’s fondness for plastic surgery, Botox, dermal fillers and the like. She has famously had a whopping 16 boob jobs, hundreds of syringes of lip filler and now plans to get her third BBL. “Just had my consultation to get my bum as big as my lips,” she told fans on Instagram this week. “I’m doing it in January, but this time, they’ve got an ultrasound which makes the procedure so much safer.” It's likely that the Pricey has spent over £100,000 on altering her face and body throughout her life. But some of it's been free. Katie has been gifted numerous procedures by surgeons and beauticians - both at home and abroad - who only ask for an Instagram post about their business in remuneration. Where did Katie's love of plastic surgery begin? Fabulous investigates... Katie burst onto the modelling scene in the mid Nineties and soon began to take on her Page 3 alter ego, Jordan. She was just 17-years-old and famed for her big smile and even bigger curls - a look that her daughter Princess Andre , 17, emulates. Katie revealed in 2023 that she had “no idea what Botox was or fillers” at this point in her career. Though, she admitted she may have started her tweakments at an even earlier age if she had. Katie underwent her first breast augmentation in 1998 at just 20-years-old, enhancing her 32B bust to a 32C. The procedure cost £4,500, and it’s thought that her mum Amy may have helped foot the bill. A year later and aged 21, she increased her size to a D cup, before again upgrading to an F cup several months after that. If her first procedure is anything to go by, she likely paid just shy of £5,000 for each of these too. Katie famously said that she’s only paid for two boob jobs in her life, so it could be any of these three. At 26-years-old, Katie delved into the world of anti-wrinkle injections. She began getting Botox to relax her facial muscles, which in turn reduces lines and wrinkles. She was open about her love of the procedure and said at the time: "I get my forehead and around my eyes Botoxed every six months, and I love it. You can't beat it. It just freezes all the wrinkles, and that's what you want." According to Face Lift London, two areas of Botox costs around £330. Over the last 20 years, that means Katie may have spent more than £13,000 on anti-wrinkle injections alone. Interestingly, Katie was adamant in 2004 that she’d “never have a full face lift ” as she had “seen what they can do to people”. In 2006, it was time for Katie to go under the knife for a fourth time. The glamour model, who was a household name by this point, wanted to increase her F cup breasts to a G cup. She also continued to dabble with Botox, and rumours were swirling that she was also getting regular lip filler injections, which likely would’ve been costing ger around £100 a pop. By 2007, Katie’s love for plastic surgery and aesthetic tweakments was in full swing. She underwent her first rhinoplasty for a chiselled nose, and splurged on a £25,000 set of veneers . The average nose job in the UK costs between £3,000 and £7,000. The model said at the time: “I liked my nose before and now. If I had a cupboard with both noses, I would alternate between them!” When she hit 30-years-old in 2008, Katie decided to drop her bra size from an F cup to a C cup, the size of her first boob job 10 years prior. Her tune soon changed, though. In 2011, she had her sixth boob job to once again boost her bust to an F cup. Her seventh and eighth augmentations took place in 2015, the former of which was a botched reduction that left her with a hole in her breast and the implant poking through her flesh. Despite the horrific experiences she had endured, Katie flew to a Brussels clinic in 2016 to go under the knife yet again for a 32GG bust. During this period, she also underwent body-contouring treatments, and amped up her usage of cheek and lip fillers to achieve a “plumper, more youthful look”. It’s possible that she was given all of these surgeries for free due to her celebrity status. This year marked a turning point for the Pricey. Despite previously claiming she would never have a face lift, Katie went back on her word to get a 'silhouette' version of the treatment. Not as extreme as the traditional face lift, it uses dissolvable sutures with tiny cones or barbs to reposition and hold the skin in place, creating a more youthful appearance without cutting the face open. The going price for this is around £2,300, according to Ever Clinic. Katie had further work done on her veneers and also had her breast implants reduced, marking her 10th boob job. Katie's first face lift was botched, she said, prompting her to undergo corrective surgery the following year at 40-years-old. She said at the time: "I need to get my face re-corrected after a surgeon totally f****d my face up." Her agent later revealed that the threads from her ‘silhouette face lift’ had "distorted her look”. The duo also hit back at trolls who said she’d “taken it too far, when in reality, it was a procedure that didn’t go as planned”. The revision face lift likely cost anywhere between £9,000 to £15,000. Katie capitalised on Turkey’s boom in medical tourism in 2019. She jetted to the hot country in search of a no-stone-left-unturned body transformation - and that’s exactly what she came back with. The mum-of-five underwent a full, surgical face, eye and eyelid lift, her first ever BBL (which transferred fat from other parts of her body to her buttocks) and a tummy tuck. Due to plastic surgery being typically cheaper in Turkey, it’s likely she paid around £10,000 for the full works. Just three months later, she went back to the clinic for her 12th boob job, this time reducing her bust back down to a D cup. It was time for Katie’s 13th boob job in Belgium to correct the apparently botched surgery from Turkey, after which she claimed the result was “absolutely awful”. She said at the time: “They looked deformed, they were absolutely awful. That's the first time I've gone to a different surgeon.” However, she still went back to Turkey to get a third set of veneers in 2020, and showcased how her natural teeth had been grinded down to stubs while there. This treatment was rumoured to be free due to Katie promoting the clinic on her social media channels. Katie decided to undergo another full transformation - likely costing around £10,000 - in the height of the pandemic. She jetted off to then red-list Turkey for a complete plastic surgery overhaul. This included full body liposuction, eye and lip lifts, liposuction under her chin and her second BBL with fat being injected into her bum. Katie didn’t fess up to much plastic surgery in 2022. She did, however, share numerous Instagram clips of her lip filler, Botox and general beautician appointments, costing hundreds of pounds each time. The mum-of-five was rumoured to have had yet another eye and brow lift, and it was reported at the time that she had wished to go back to Turkey for more tweaks after being unhappy with her latest work. Rumours also swirled that she’d had more boob jobs this year. Katie’s boobs had never been so big. She wanted to have the "biggest boobs in Britain" and reportedly opted for 2120cc implants to enhance her already sizable chest at a clinic in Belgium. The model claimed that this was her 16th boob job, following her 13th one in 2020. It’s unclear whether she lost count of her breast augmentation surgeries or simply chose to keep some quiet. In August this year, Katie jetted off to Turkey for more enhancements which were reportedly free. She underwent another face lift - including a fox eye lift - at Trio Clinic in Istanbul, and promoted the clinic to her 2.7 million Instagram followers. She took her new boyfriend JJ Slater along with her, and the pair both got veneer upgrades while they were there. Nancy Mace in a Capitol Office building pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to a misdemeanor assault charge. Witnesses told police that James McIntyre, 33, of Chicago, shook Mace's hand in an “exaggerated, aggressive” manner after approaching the South Carolina Republican in the Rayburn House Office Building on Tuesday evening, according to a police affidavit. Mace, who is identified only by her initials in a court filing, posted a string of social media messages about the incident. She said she was “physically accosted” at the Capitol, and she thanked President-elect Donald Trump for calling her Wednesday morning to check on her condition. “I’m going to be fine just as soon as the pain and soreness subside,” Mace wrote. Mace declined to be treated by a paramedic after her encounter with McIntyre, who was arrested Tuesday by the Capitol Police, the affidavit says. Mace told police that McIntyre said, “Trans youth serve advocacy,” while shaking her hand. Last month, Mace proposed a resolution that would prohibit any lawmakers and House employees from “using single-sex facilities other than those corresponding to their biological sex.” Mace said the bill is aimed specifically at Delaware Democrat Sarah McBride — the first transgender person to be elected to Congress. A magistrate judge ordered McIntyre’s release after an arraignment in Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Efforts to reach an attorney for McIntyre weren't immediately successful.

Seibert, who missed the previous two games with a right hip injury, was wide left on the point-after attempt following a low snap. Thomas then took the kick back 43 yards as the Cowboys (4-7) ended their losing streak at five in improbable fashion. Part of that was the play of backup Cooper Rush, who threw for 247 yards and two TDs in his third start in place of starter Dak Prescott. Part was also the defense forcing two turnovers, as Chauncey Golston ripped the ball out of Brian Robinson Jr.’s hands for what was called an interception of Daniels in the second quarter, and Donovan Wilson stripped John Bates midway through the fourth. KaVonte Turpin provided the fireworks with a spinning, 99-yard kickoff return TD seconds after Daniels found Zach Ertz in the end zone and scored on a 2-point conversion to cut the deficit to three with 3:02 left. In the final three minutes alone, the Commanders (7-5) scored 10 points and allowed Thomas' TD. All that after the score was 10-9 through three quarters before madness ensued. Washington's playoff hopes that looked solid not long ago are now in serious jeopardy after losing to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Dallas. Before the scoring outburst late, much of this defeat had to do with Daniels and the offense not being able to find any kind of a rhythm. The Cowboys did, despite playing without their two best offensive linemen, top cornerback and starting tight end. Rush's 6-yard pass to Jalen Tolbert was Dallas' first third-quarter TD of the season, and his 22-yarder to Luke Schoonmaker came after Wilson's forced fumble. Daniels finished 25 of 38 for 274 yards, including his second interception of the game on a failed Hail Mary as the clock expired. Rico Dowdle ran 19 times for 86 yards to spring the upset for the Cowboys, who were 10 1/2-point underdogs on BetMGM Sportsbook. Cowboys: LG Tyler Smith was inactive with ankle and knee injuries. ...
