panalo999 download It has been a tumultuous couple of months at the Indian bourses. After hitting a record high of 26,277 points on September 27, the broad market benchmark NSE Nifty had tumbled 11.5 per cent to a little over 23,000 points by November 21. This was the longest secular losing streak for the top 50-shares’ market gauge since June 2022. A lot of factors appeared to be pulling down Dalal Street momentum, including the surprisingly weak second quarter results for listed Indian firms, foreign investors recalibrating portfolios towards China as it sought to stimulate its way through a rough patch and anticipated adverse implications for world trade after Donald Trump won his way back to the White House. November 21 also marked the day the markets got to know about an U.S. Court indictment of some Adani Green Energy officials after a Department of Justice probe into allegations that included securities fraud, wire fraud as well as bribery, with civil charges separately initiated by the U.S. market regulator. In the eleven trading sessions since then, or between November 22 and December 6, the tide has shifted – with the Nifty gaining in nine of the 11 sessions. By last Thursday, just a day ahead of the bi-monthly monetary policy review of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) that came in the backdrop of rising inflation and a confirmation of the second quarter growth stumble by official data released November 29, the Nifty-50 was at a seven-week high of 24,708 points. This means the Nifty is still about 6 per cent off its peak, but the rebound rally has bought some respite to nervous traders. The market seems to have shrugged off both the shock of slowing economic growth, and the RBI’s decision to withstand a rising domestic clamour for interest rate cuts and keep the repo rate unchanged, even as the U.S. Federal Reserve and other central banks have been slashing rates for a bit now. Market experts say the growth slump had already been priced in over the previous weeks’ losing streak, and the RBI’s policy was hardly a surprise, with October’s inflation spiking to 6.2 per cent, and November unlikely to report a dramatic cooling. That perhaps explains the mere 0.1 per cent, or 30 points, drop in the Nifty last Friday after the RBI policy was unveiled. The Nifty is up 13.5 per cent so far in 2024, and as the year draws to a close, what should investors expect in its last few weeks of trading? In a report titled ‘Nifty: At The Crossroads’, Axis Securities dug into the past for a clue. In the past 25 years, the Nifty went up 80% of the time between Nov. 25 and Dec. 31, with average and median returns of 4.1 per cent and 2.2 per cent, respectively. The probability of an uptick shoots up to 100 per cent in the years of U.S. Presidential polls, with mean and median returns of 5.8 per cent and 6.8 per cent, respectively. Bajaj Broking researchers also termed December one of the best months for the Indian market with the Nifty rising in 17 of the last 24 years. Based on historical patterns and current market analysis, the firm expects the markets will do well this month, and the Nifty could target levels between 24,800 and 25,200. As of December 6, the index is up 3.2 per cent starting from the Nov. 25 trading session, and 2.2 per cent in this month so far. Of course, past performance is no assurance but if the last 24-25 years’ trend holds, there may well be some upside left for the Nifty in 2024. While investors would hope for a Christmas bonus, Bajaj Broking has warned volatility could be higher this month thanks to domestic and global cues, like the U.S. Federal Reserve’s next rate move expected a week before the festival. So keep calm but watchful as you prepare to ring out the old. As for ringing in the new, the prospects for 2025 may hinge a lot on Mr. Trump’s action plan for the year (not to be confused with Project 2025 just yet). Enjoy 2024, till stocks last! Comments

Apple introduced the Pro Display XDR in 2019 with its $4999 price tag, no included stand, and an optional Pro Stand for $999. Since then, despite all of the advancements in display technology, Apple has left it untouched. While there isn’t a ton to go off of, there are a couple of smaller details that give us an idea on what Apple is working on. Apple Silicon chip Apple released the Studio Display in 2022, and it had one unique advantage over most displays: it was powered by an A13 Bionic. This allowed it to have cool features like Center Stage and spatial audio. Pro Display XDR , since it was released three years prior, does not include an Apple Silicon chipset. However, according to a Bloomberg report from 2022 , that is one thing Apple is planning for the next-generation model: Apple is working on multiple new external monitors as well, including an update to the Pro Display XDR that was launched alongside the Intel Mac Pro in 2019. It is possible, however, that the company’s next high-end display will ship after the Mac Pro, as the computer is further along in development than the monitor. Those new monitors — like the Studio Display launched with the Mac Studio — will include Apple silicon. That helps the screens rely less on resources from the attached computer. Presuming this two-year-old rumor holds up – which could make sense given the fact that Gurman mentioned that the display was behind in development, then we can likely expect some sort of Apple Silicon chipset in the Pro Display XDR 2. This could allow for the Pro Display XDR to have a built in camera and speakers, something it doesn’t currently. Quantom-dot display According to display analyst Ross Young , Apple will be adopting quantom-dot films in the next generation Pro Display XDR, similar to the new M4 MacBook Pro : Now that Apple has adopted [quantum dot] films in the MacBook Pro, it will be interesting to see if they replace KSF films and KSF phosphors in other Apple products. KSF films are found in previous MiniLED MacBook Pro’s and the Mac Pro Display XDR. We expect the next version of the Mac Pro Display to adopt it. It isn’t clear if this means Apple will adopt mini-LED in the next generation Pro Display XDR , which currently uses a higher end IPS panel with local-dimming zones. We also have no concrete information regarding refresh rate, though it would be nice if we got a 120Hz panel, especially since MacBooks have had that for over three years, and the Pro Display XDR costs over $5000. Other rumors Last year, supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple will be releasing a 27-inch miniLED display in 2025. It’s unlikely that this is in reference to the Pro Display XDR, since it has a 32-inch display size, but it’s relevant to mention regardless, as Kuo refers to it as a “high end monitor.” According to Kuo, this display will be thinner, and also have narrower bezels. Additionally, we’ve reported on 9to5Mac that Apple is working on a display with a 7K resolution, which seems plausible for a future Pro Display XDR . Release date Display analyst Ross Young shared with 9to5Mac that he currently expects the Pro Display XDR 2 to launch in late 2025 or early 2026, though there isn’t yet anything concrete. Police divers are combing through underwater areas of New York's Central Park in the hunt for evidence about the killer of a healthcare boss. Detectives searching for the man believed to have targeted UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson have found a backpack and have multiple images of the suspect. But, so far, they have not found the weapon used when Mr Thompson arrived at the Hilton hotel for his company's annual investor conference at 6.44am on Wednesday. Two sources have told Sky's' US partner NBC News that the New York Police Department's scuba team has now joined the investigation. The sources said they are specifically trained to recover evidence while diving, using specific techniques and equipment. Since the waters are likely murky, the source said, the divers will make an underwater grid pattern to search for evidence. They are also knowledgeable on how to preserve evidence if found underwater. It is understood there is a pond in Central Park close to the escape route used by the killer after the shooting. Pictures in some US media show divers searching around the boating lake in the famous New York park. The investigators believe the killer used a 9mm pistol that resembled a gun that farmers use to put down animals without causing a loud noise. They also know ammunition found near Thompson's body had been inscribed with the words "delay," "deny" and "depose", mimicking a phrase used by insurance industry critics. Among the theories being worked on are that the gunman knew UnitedHealthcare group was holding a conference at the hotel and the route Thompson took to get there, so he could possibly be a disgruntled employee or client, NYPD chief of detectives Joseph Kenny said. On Sunday afternoon, while they did , police declined to comment on the contents of the backpack, or on the results of the search in the pond. But the day before, sources told NBC News police found money from a Monopoly game inside the backpack they believe the gunman used. Hundreds of detectives are pouring over video recordings and social media posts, checking tips from the public and carrying out interviews. Among those being questioned are Thompson's family and co-workers and the gunman's randomly assigned roommates at the Manhattan hostel where he stayed. Police believe the killer likely took a bus out of New York soon after the brazen ambush. Before he arrived in New York, he travelled from Atlanta. Detectives are searching for video from that bus station and others along the Greyhound Bus route. Other video found by detectives shows the man riding a bicycle into the park and later taking a taxi to a bus station from where he could travel to New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston and Washington DC, according to Mr Kenny.Embark on a mesmerizing journey through time and space in "Echoes of Eternity," a visually stunning action-adventure game that combines intricate puzzles with breathtaking landscapes.
