8 New Year’s Resolutions Meteorologists Hope You Make
Gisele Bündchen and ex Tom Brady are celebrating Vivian Brady reaching the endzone of another year. The pregnant supermodel and former New England Patriots quarterback—who divorced in 2022 following 13 years of marriage—rang in their daughter's 12th birthday with adorable tributes on social media. For Tom's part, the NFL Hall of Famer—who also shares son Benjamin Brady , 14, with Gisele, as well as son Jack Brady , 17, with ex Bridget Moynahan —gave a special shout to his "forever baby girl" alongside a carousel of images, including one snap of the two posing together in front of the Eiffel Tower at the 2024 Olympics . "Watching you grow and chase after your dreams are the proudest moments of my life," Tom continued in his Dec. 5 Instagram post . "Your love, compassion, and joy fill up every room that you’re in, and will always make your daddy smile. You light up my life!" He added, "Here’s to a great day filled with all the laughter and love that you deserve. I love you infinity x infinity!!!" And Gisele—who is currently expecting a baby with boyfriend Joaquim Valente —paid tribute with her own series of photos showing her and Vivian basking in the sun on the beach, riding horses and enjoying a sweet embrace at sunset. Atop the trio of Dec. 5 Instagram Stories, she wrote, "Happy birthday to my ray of sunshine." "You are the best daughter a mom could ever ask for," the 44-year-old continued, "and I'm so blessed to be your mama!" Of course, her daughter isn't the only one hitting new milestones in the family. Gisele recently showed off her bumpin' baby belly while hitting the beach with Joaquim amid their babymoon in Costa Rica . And as for how Gisele and Tom feel about their kids coming into their own? As long as they maintain their family's values, Tom's happy to watch them gain more independence. "I'm trying to raise them—we all are, myself and their mom—in a very loving way toward one another," Tom told E! News last year, "to be very kind, to be empathetic and to have great perspective." For more heartwarming moments between Tom and his kids, read on... Gisele Bündchen shared this family photo on Instagram on Tom Brady 's son Jack 's 14th birthday, writing, "Happy birthday Jack! We are all so lucky to have you in our lives. Thank you for being the best big brother in the world. We love you soooo much!" While wearing his Christopher Cloos x Brady sunglasses, Tom celebrates his Super Bowl win with daughter Vivian during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers boat parade. After winning his seventh Super Bowl, the Tampa Bay quarterback celebrated with his daughter Vivian. Tom snuggled with his kids John "Jack" Moynahan (with ex Bridget Moynahan ), Vivian and Benjamin in this adorable photo snapped by Gisele on Father's Day. Brady went from quarterback to coach with his son on the beach, writing on Instagram that he's "#dadsfavoriteworkoutpartner." Gisele shared this adorable photo on Instagram of Tom giving his son a kiss on the forehead. The whole Brady-bünch posed together at the Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta ahead of the Super Bowl LIII, which the Patriots later won . Tom lurked as Pennywise the Dancing Clown in a window behind his family as they celebrate Halloween in 2018. As Tom geared up for another football season, he stopped to give his daughter a little love and clearly this one has her dad's full attention. In July 2018, the Brady bunch headed out of town for a family vacation and they couldn't look any happier on their horseback riding adventure. Tom celebrated Father's Day with a family dinner and lots of silly photos with his younger son, Ben. There's nothing sweeter than seeing the greatest quarterback of all time (he has seven Super Bowl rings) get smothered in love by his three kids. Even though it was springtime, Tom bundled up with Ben for a fun day outside...complete with a little training. Tom Brady as the Easter bunny? Who would've guessed?! The super sweet family was all smiles during one of Brady's episodes of Tom vs. Time . After playing in another Super Bowl, Tom took a little break with his family, complete with burger time and selfies. Even though the Patriots lost the 2018 Super Bowl, Tom had his support squad ready and waiting to cheer him up. Ahead of Super Bowl LII, the Patriots QB posed for pictures with his whole family including Gisele and oldest son Jack, second-born Ben, and daughter Vivian. The New England Patriots quarterback showed his second oldest son a little love on his birthday in December of 2017, writing , "Happy Birthday to the sweetest 8 year old boy a mom and dad could ever ask for! So filled with love and joy! We are so proud of you Benny! And you shine a light that brightens our lives every day! We love you." Vivian was the ultimate sous chef as her dad made her biscuits before Thanksgiving and really, what can't Brady do? The dynamic duo of Tom and Ben spent a November day swinging in a hammock together and we really wish we had some R&R like this in our near future. Leave it to Tom to teach his son more than just football. The Brady crew rolled around in the grass and enjoyed spending time together in June 2017 and it really does look like they are having a blast. Who says you're too old to make funny faces? When the Patriots headed back to Boston for their parade celebration after their 2017 Super Bowl win, Tom brought Ben along for the ride making him the coolest dad around. Winning the Super Bowl in 2017 was great, but getting to celebrate with your daughter on the field is priceless. In 2017, Vivian gave her dad a big good luck kiss before he headed out for a game. Seriously, these two are so stinking cute. Tom's fans span near and far, but his biggest fans are his three kids and their "Brady" jerseys continually make us love them even more as a unit. Decorating the Christmas tree is twice as fun when you have your precious daughter helping you out...especially when she's dressed as a fairy! The football player loves to spend his off time with his adorable kiddos at the beach and we totally approve.
LOS ANGELES — Considering how their seasons have ebbed and flowed so far, and the history between the stars leading their teams, it’s only appropriate that the Lakers and Golden State Warriors match up for a Christmas Day showdown on Wednesday at Chase Center. Just a month ago, the Lakers and Warriors were sitting near the top of the Western Conference standings, opening the season with 10-5 and 12-3 records, respectively, entering Nov. 23. How much a month can change things. The Lakers (16-13) have gone 6-8 since then after dropping Monday’s home game to the Detroit Pistons to end their three-game winning streak. And the Warriors (15-13) have been even worse, winning just three of their last 13 games after starting the year at the top of the conference. But Wednesday will be another matchup between Lakers star LeBron James and Warriors star Steph Curry – two all-time greats whose careers have intersected to the point they’re considered by many to have one of the defining rivalries of the league’s modern era. “Anytime you get an opportunity to be on the court and compete versus one of the greats to ever play this game, you never take it for granted,” James said. “I don’t know how many more opportunities we’re gonna get to go against each other, so it’s always fun.” Wednesday will also mark the second time the Lakers and Warriors have played each other on Christmas in the past seven years, with the Lakers beating the Warriors on Dec. 25, 2018, in James’ first season with the Lakers. In addition to the 2018 matchup , James’ and Curry’s teams squared off on Christmas for three consecutive seasons (2015-17) when James was on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry didn’t play in the 2017 game. But matchups between James and Curry have historically had more at stake than Christmas Day game bragging rights. Their teams matched up in four consecutive NBA Finals (2015-18), with Curry’s Warriors winning the championship in 2015, ‘17 and ‘18 and James’ Cavaliers coming out on top in ’16 after coming back from a 3-1 series. “For me, as a fan, it was an awesome stretch,” Lakers coach JJ Redick said. “For me as a player, it wasn’t a great stretch because I wasn’t in those Finals. But it was great to have two of the icons of this generation go head to head and have some for sure classic series and then just also some classic games and classic moments. “Throughout the history of the NBA, player and team rivalries have been good for the league and that sort of captured a moment in our generation.” The Lakers and Warriors also played each other in the 2021 Play-In Tournament and the second round of the 2023 playoffs, with the Lakers winning both matchups “It’s going to be good,” Anthony Davis said. “We always have battles with them, we’ve seen them in the playoffs a couple of years. It’s going to be fun to go up to The Bay and try to get a win on Christmas Day.” Not including the Play-In Tournament game, Wednesday will mark the 53rd matchup between a team led by James and Curry. Curry’s teams have a 29-23 record in those matchups, including a 17-11 record in the playoffs. But the relationship between James, who’s in his 22nd NBA season and will return 40 on Monday, and Curry, who’s in his 16th NBA season and will turn 37 in March, has evolved over the years since consistently playing against one another in the Finals. James and Curry teamed up this past summer, leading Team USA to a gold medal in the Paris Olympics. “It’s a fun battle because of the longevity of how long we’ve been doing this,” Curry said during an appearance on ESPN’s “NBA Today” on Tuesday. “There’s more appreciation and respect than probably back in the day because there was a lot of pettiness and resentment. The rivalry was real but it evolves and you still want to go at each other, but the respect is there.” When : Wednesday, 5 p.m. Where : Chase Center, San Francisco TV/radio : ABC/ESPN, 710 AM
King laughs at British comedian’s impression of Donald Trump at Royal Variety
"Towards the back end of last season, we had a new manager bounce which really aided us in results. "We were also assisted in three young loanees from the EFL who are no longer here of course. "Searle’s recruitment in the summer was particularly poor, hence why we’ve made many mid season signings and have a huge squad size! "We’ve been left completely in the mire when it comes to team selection and the obvious one, we’re on our third manager of the season already! "Players aren’t settled in the slightest with constant changes in tactics and style. "There’s been no change since Searle left, Watling was just as poor. "There’s many issues, too many to list. "But the few key ones have been our style of play, we completely lack any identity as Harry Watling changed tactics and styles practically every game. "We’ve also been very defensively poor, we’ve already shipped 54 goals this season and that’s down mainly to pace at the back. "Previously mentioned, actions in the market, too many one month loanees, poor summer recruitment, which now leaves us with a big squad. "And more recently, the squad's been hit with some form of illness, that’s affected most if not all players, which again impacts selection heavily." Do you feel you have any chance of staying up? "Our chances are of course very slim, it’s Christmas and we’ve not even broken the double figure mark in points. "If we need any chance then we need to get the players fighting for the badge and for the club, as players have looked to not care at times. "There needs to be fight and passion and a willing to stay up, like there was last season. How are the fans meant to believe if the players don’t? "Wes has been inconsistent, he’s had a few good performances, one notably at Forest Green coming to mind. "He looks comfy on the ball and he’s got a bit of energy about him, but tends to go for very risky passes, costing us possession, he’s also not really shown much defensive determination or desire, again being costly when being on the back foot. "No suspensions to note, like I said there’s a bit of a virus going round, which players are affected is unclear, also unclear whether it’s passed or not. "Jack Wakely is injured, Lewis Page, Luke O’Neill and Ben Chapman are returning from injury and may be unlikely to feature."NoneRaiders’ Pierce after win hurts draft order: ‘We don’t do this to lose’None

CATL Launches the Bedrock Chassis That Withstands 120 km/h Impact Without Catching Fire or ExplodingMUNICH (AFP) – Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane hit back at criticism levelled at him, saying he would do his “talking on the pitch” after becoming the fastest to 50 goals in Bundesliga history. Kane scored a second-half hat-trick in a 3-0 home win over Augsburg which sent Bayern Munich eight points clear, bringing up his Bundesliga half-century in 43 games. The England captain beat the previous record set by Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in 2021, then at Borussia Dortmund, who reached his half century in 50 games. Kane’s hat-trick was his seventh in the league since arriving in the summer of 2023. Two of Kane’s three goals came from the spot and he has now scored 25 consecutive penalties for club and country in all competitions since missing against France in the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals. The milestone comes after the 31-year-old was criticised during the international break, with some saying he should step aside for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins. Kane, who was also criticised for some lethargic performances at Euro 2024, told reporters he was “used to that now”, adding he was “experienced enough to know that comes with being one of the top players, one of the top strikers”. Saying he felt “in the best form of his career”, Kane said “all I can do is do my talking on the pitch, like I did tonight”. He said he was yet to talk to incoming England coach Thomas Tuchel, who also lives in Munich, but said “I’m sure we’ll have a conversation on the experiences I’ve had, the good and bad things, and what we can improve.”

Jeffrey Allan Parsons Advocates for Family Crisis Support 12-19-2024 09:24 PM CET | Media & Telecommunications Press release from: Getnews / PR Agency: Erase Technologies, LLC Image: https://www.globalnewslines.com/uploads/2024/12/1734581737.jpg Jeffrey Allan Parsons, West Columbia, Texas Helping Families Rebuild: Why Community Support Matters Jeffrey Allan Parsons [ https://www.jeffreyallanparsons.com/ ], a renowned expert in coins and collectibles, is turning his attention toward a cause close to his heart: supporting families in crisis. Drawing on his own experiences of generosity and giving back, Jeffrey is calling on individuals and communities to step up when neighbors are in need. "Families facing sudden loss need more than sympathy-they need action," Jeffrey says. "Whether it's a house fire, a natural disaster, or an unexpected tragedy, the difference we can make together is huge." The Numbers Don't Lie According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), there are an average of 346,800 home fires annually in the United States, displacing thousands of families. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reports that only 48% of Americans have emergency funds set aside for crises. For many, recovery is a daunting uphill battle. "I've met families who lost everything," Jeffrey shares. "For them, even a small gesture-a meal, clothes, or help with rebuilding-means the world. It gives them hope." Jeffrey recalls a moment that solidified his commitment to helping others. "I saw a family on the news whose home had burned down. They had nothing left. I couldn't just sit there. I called the station and donated $5,000 to help them get back on their feet." Why Action Matters Jeffrey believes acts of kindness inspire more people to contribute. "When one person steps up, others follow," he says. "It creates a ripple effect. Imagine if everyone gave just a little bit-we could rebuild lives so much faster." But financial support isn't the only answer. Jeffrey emphasizes that time, skills, and connections can be equally valuable. "Sometimes, it's not about money," he says. "Offer to babysit, cook a meal, or even just listen. Those things matter, too." A Life Built on Giving Jeffrey's passion for helping others is deeply rooted in his upbringing. Raised on a farm in Buffalo Hart, Illinois, he learned the value of hard work and community support. Over the years, his career as a collector and estate sale expert has allowed him to connect with countless families, often during times of transition or loss. "I've seen how resilient people can be," Jeffrey says. "But resilience grows stronger when it's supported by others." His own family is a big part of his motivation. Jeffrey and his wife, Bree, have five children and nine grandchildren. "Family is everything to me," he says. "I want my kids and grandkids to know that we're here to help others whenever we can." How You Can Help Jeffrey encourages everyone to get involved in their local communities. "Start small," he advises. "Look around-someone in your town might need help right now. A small effort on your part can make a life-changing difference for them." For those looking to make a bigger impact, consider donating to organizations that provide emergency relief or volunteering with local groups. "There's no wrong way to help," Jeffrey says. Closing the Gap Jeffrey's message is simple: Be there for each other. "Whether it's a financial gift, time, or skills, every contribution counts," he says. "We're all in this together, and the more we support one another, the stronger our communities will be." For Jeffrey, advocacy isn't just a cause-it's a way of life. "It's not about the coins," he says with a smile. "It's about the people. That's what really matters."
