Another airline has confirmed it will be moving to the terminals at New York JFK. Norse Atlantic Airways confirmed today that it has signed a letter of intent to start operations at the new Terminal 6 (T6) at John F. Kennedy International Airport starting in 2026. Terminal 6 for 2026 Norse Atlantic is the 15th largest airline at New York JFK Airport and currently operates out of Terminal 7. The carrier was founded in 2021 and arrived in Terminal 7 with a single daily flight to London Gatwick in 2023. The carrier currently offers flights from JFK to Athens (ATH), Berlin (BER), London Gatwick (LGW), Oslo (OSL), Paris (CDG), and Rome (FCO) with a fleet composed entirely of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which are configured with both economy class and Premium cabins. Norse premium transatlantic tickets can be thousands of dollars cheaper than other airline's comparable classes. The airline will move to the new T6 when the first stages open in 2026. It is from Rome to Los Angeles, covering 5,222 nautical miles (9,672 km) each way. It will begin on May 22, 2025, and operate three times weekly summer seasonally.
