188 jili vip Cayden Primeau is simply having a terrible start to the season with the Montreal Canadiens. It's really unfortunate, but it's the reality. Some even go so far as to say that, if Cayden Primeau did his job, the Habs would be in the mix right now. Looking closely at the stats, it's hard to disagree. A change is needed in the Canadiens' crease Here's the proposed solution. Why not call up goaltender Connor Hughes to see if he can be a solid NHL goalie? It could turn out to be an incredible discovery. I understand that management wants to protect Jakub Dobes, but Hughes is 28 years old, so there's no need to leave him in Laval for too long. Connor Hughes: 'He looks like an NHL goaltender' Several experts agree with this opinion, so why not give him a chance right away? So, what do you think? Should the Montreal Canadiens take a chance on Hughes? Because clearly, Samuel Montembeault cannot play every game from now until the end of the season. I love the idea. Hughes has a 1.85 goals-against average this season with a save percentage of 0.935 (6 wins and 1 loss) - AHL. Primeau has a 4.67 goals-against average this season with a save percentage of 0.845 (1 win and 3 losses) - NHL. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to the Gulf nation of Kuwait at the invitation of Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait. This is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years. In an interview with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Saturday, he highlighted the significant rise in two-way trade, emphasising their energy partnership and the increasing presence of “Made in India” products across various sectors in Kuwait. “Trade and commerce have been important pillars of our bilateral relationship. Our bilateral trade has been on an upswing. Our energy partnership adds a unique value to our bilateral trade,” PM Modi said. “We are happy to see ‘Made in India’ products, particularly in automobile, electrical and mechanical machinery, and telecom segments making new inroads in Kuwait. India today is manufacturing world-class products at the most affordable cost. Diversification to non-oil trade is key to achieving greater bilateral trade,” the Prime Minister said. He further spoke about deepening the potential for collaboration in diverse fields such as health, technology, digital, innovation and textiles. PM Modi further said that India and Kuwait share a deep and historic bond and the relationship between both countries has always been one of warmth and friendship and the crosscurrents of history and exchanges through ideas and commerce have brought people close and together, KUNA reported. “We have traded with each other since times immemorial. The discoveries in Failaka Island speak of our shared past. The Indian Rupee was a legal tender in Kuwait for over a century till 1961. This shows how closely our economies were integrated,” PM Modi told KUNA. He further said, “Overall, the bilateral ties are progressing well and if I could say, scaling new heights. I eagerly look forward to my talks with His Highness the Emir to elevate our ties in various areas including defence, trade, investment, and energy. The strong roots of our historical ties must be matched by the fruits of our 21st-century partnership – dynamic, robust and multifaceted. There is a lot we have achieved together, but possibilities are limitless for our partnership. I am sure this visit will give new wings to it.” Earlier today on Sunday received a rousing ceremonial welcome and a Guard of Honour in Kuwait during his state trip to the Gulf country. PM Modi was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour at the Bayan Palace, Kuwait. The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah also present during the ceremony. The details of the meeting were also shared by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs on X. “A special welcome on historic visit! PM @narendramodi arrives at the Bayan Palace in Kuwait to a ceremonial welcome and Guard of Honour. Warmly received by HH Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, PM of Kuwait. Extensive talks with HH the Amir, Crown Prince and PM of Kuwait lie ahead,” Randhir Jaiswal wrote. On Saturday, he visited the Gulf Spic Labour Camp in Kuwait, where he interacted with Indian workers and highlighted their contribution to the country’s development. PM Modi spoke about the aspirations of Indian workers, linking them to his vision for a “Viksit Bharat 2047.” (ANI)Fighter Conor McGregor is being ‘strongly advised’ to consider taking an extended break away from Ireland, sources have told Extra.ie. Last month, Nikita Hand , who accused the sportsman of raping her in a Dublin hotel in December 2018, won her claim against him for damages in a case at the High Court in Dublin. Ms Hand sought damages for assault, rape against McGregor and his friend James Lawrence. A jury found she had been assaulted by Mr McGregor but not by Mr Lawrence. The jury awarded damages of €248,603 against Mr McGregor. In the days following the civil action verdict, major retailers across the UK and Ireland stopped selling alcoholic drinks associated with McGregor . Other endorsement deals, like ones with popular video games manufacturer, IO Interactive, were also quick to drop the MMA star after the defeat in court. ‘Let’s be clear Conor isn’t exactly the type to run from a fight. But this is the fight of his life,’ said a source close to the fighter. ‘The news cycle here is constant, whereas in somewhere like America it’s not really a big story and he can have space to retain and regroup,’ the person said. ‘But — and here’s the big but — it’s doomed if he stays and damned if he goes. So that’s the tough choice he has to make. For his own sake and his family.’ The commercial backlash against McGregor has already seen a number of businesses cut ties with him in the wake of the court case. The likes of Musgrave, Tesco and the BWG Group quickly cut ties with him after the result of the court case. In a statement, a spokesman for Musgrave said: ‘Musgrave can confirm these products are no longer available to our store network.’ The network includes SuperValu, Centra, Daybreak and Mace. It is understood that other retail outlets including Costcutter and Carry Out will also stop stocking products linked to Mr McGregor. And it’s not just in Ireland, the UK’s largest independent drinks retailer, LWC Drinks revealed that it ‘does not want to be associated’ with him. In a statement released to MailOnline , it said that it will be joining the growing industry-wide shunning of Conor McGregor-affiliated drinks, including Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey and Forged stout. Supplying over 15,000 UK businesses with their alcohol products, the announcement from LWC comes as the latest in a spate of recent blows to the Irish fighter’s commercial brand. The decision to cease its sale of, and association with, both Proper 12 Irish Whiskey and Forged Irish Stout comes after McGregor lost his civil rape case against Nikita Hand in Irish court last month. That the fallout has spread to other regions has come as a ‘massive blow’ to McGregor. ‘It’s relentless. And the backlash isn’t showing any sign of levelling out. If anything it’s gathering pace,’ explained the source. In a scathing statement shared with MailOnline, LWC drinks said that it does not want to be ‘associated’ with the former two-division UFC champion and his stout product. The statement in full read: ‘In light of Friday’s civil court ruling against Conor McGregor, LWC, the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler has taken the necessary legal steps to terminate its agreement to distribute Forged Irish Stout. ‘We are consulting with our customers to support them in the replacement of Forged draught taps. LWC does not want to be associated with Conor McGregor or Forged Irish Stout’. LWC decision to dump McGregor’s drinks brand came just days after UK food delivery severe Ocado and supermarket chains Tesco and Asda followed in Irish retailers’ decision to remove his brand and affiliated products from their shelves. Additionally, the Irish branch of prominent pub chain JD Wetherspoon announced last week that they too would be removing Conor McGregor’s affiliated alcoholic beverages from their pubs in Ireland.’ ’This isn’t a fight he can win at this press moment. So at this stage, it’s best to keep the head down, get his head together and that simply isn’t an option in Ireland where it’s the biggest news story in a very small town. So getting out of dodge is really the best option, all things considered.’ On Thursday (December 6) the High Court will hold a hearing on legal costs for the civil case taken by Ms Hand. The case had been due to be heard on Thursday, November 28 but Mr Justice Alexander Owens agreed to delay it by one week. The losing side pays their own legal costs and those of the successful party. The court has the discretion to depart from this general rule if persuaded that the justice of the case requires this and there are special circumstances.

HUMANS have already reached the Moon – and Mars seems like the obvious next step. But how will we get there? There are several mega-rockets already being developed that could take us to the red planet in our lifetimes. 9 This Star Wars-style mock-up shows what Nasa's nuclear-powered 'space habitat' might look like Credit: Nasa 9 Nasa has teamed up with Darpa to create a nuclear-powered rocket of the future Credit: Nasa Nasa nuclear rocket Mars is far away – around 140 millions from Earth on average. That means getting there is not only time-consuming, but very expensive in terms of fuel. Nasa hopes that one way of bringing the time and cost down is using nuclear propulsion. "Nasa’s goal is to minimize the time the crew travels between Earth and Mars to as close to two years as is practical," Nasa said in 2021. GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — After losing to San Francisco in the playoffs three of the last five seasons, the Green Bay Packers wouldn’t mind seeing the 49ers get left out of the postseason entirely. The Packers (7-3) could damage San Francisco’s playoff hopes Sunday by beating the 49ers at Lambeau Field. San Francisco (5-5) dropped to .500 after losing at home to the Seattle Seahawks, though the 49ers remain just a game behind the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West. NoneCryptocurrency isn’t just a buzzword anymore; it’s shaping the future of finance. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or someone new to the game, there’s no denying the allure of diversifying into the best altcoins to buy this weekend. But which coins are genuinely worth your time and dollars? Let’s dive into three major players shaking things up: Qubetics ($TICS), Cosmos ($ATOM), and Filecoin ($FIL). Each offers something unique, but spoiler alert—Qubetics is stealing the spotlight with its explosive presale. While household names like Cosmos and Filecoin are well-established in the crypto world, Qubetics is the scrappy newcomer making waves. Its presale success and bold analyst predictions make it a coin to watch in 2024. Let’s unpack what makes these projects stand out and why you should consider them the best altcoins to buy this weekend . Qubetics ($TICS): Redefining Blockchain Innovation Qubetics is the fresh-faced disruptor the crypto space has been waiting for. Currently in its 13th presale stage, Qubetics has raised over $7.5 million, selling more than 367 million $TICS tokens to 11,300-plus holders. Each token is priced at just $0.0342374. But here’s where it gets spicy: analysts predict a post-mainnet price of $10–$15, which could mean an ROI north of 43,000%. Imagine investing $25,000 today. If $TICS hits $10, you’re looking at $7.3 million. At $15? Try $10.95 million. Those numbers aren’t just dreams; they’re within areach. What sets Qubetics apart is its focus on real-world asset tokenisation . Imagine being able to tokenise anything from real estate to luxury goods, splitting ownership into digital tokens for seamless transactions. For example, a real estate developer could divide a $10 million property into a million $10 tokens, enabling anyone to invest. A musician could tokenise royalties, letting fans own a slice of their success. This revolutionary approach makes blockchain not just accessible but practical. Picture this: a small business owner struggling to raise funds can tokenise their operations, selling fractional ownership to local investors without the bureaucracy of traditional loans. Or think about international transactions—imagine the ability to transfer ownership of a high-value asset instantly without the costly delays of intermediaries. Qubetics’ tokenisation tools promise to break down barriers and create new opportunities for businesses, professionals, and individuals. Qubetics is also making strides with its QubeQode IDE , simplifying blockchain development. This platform empowers developers to innovate without roadblocks, from smart contracts to decentralised VPNs. With features like cross-border payment solutions and an asset tokenisation marketplace, Qubetics isn’t just another crypto project; it’s the future of Web3. Analysts are buzzing about the potential. One predicts $TICS could outperform established giants when its mainnet launches. With its presale ongoing, now’s the time to dive in and grab your share of this game-changer. If there was ever a moment to invest in the best altcoins to buy this weekend, this is it. Cosmos ($ATOM): The Internet of Blockchains If you’ve been around the crypto block, you’ve heard of Cosmos. Known as the “Internet of Blockchains,” Cosmos has carved out a niche by solving one of crypto’s biggest problems: interoperability. In simpler terms, the bridge lets different blockchains talk to each other. And let’s face it, Cosmos' unifying vision is a breath of fresh air in a world where isolated systems are a dime a dozen. Cosmos has been a favourite among developers for years, thanks to its Tendermint consensus algorithm and SDK, which make blockchain creation almost too easy. Think of it as the Lego set for building decentralised apps. From DeFi platforms to NFT marketplaces, Cosmos is the backbone for countless projects. But Cosmos isn’t just for techies. It’s also a solid investment. $ATOM, the native token, has consistently ranked among the top altcoins, weathering market storms better than most. And while its price might not promise the wild ROI of Qubetics, it’s a reliable choice for anyone looking to diversify. Whether you’re staking $ATOM for passive income or betting on the long-term growth of its ecosystem, Cosmos delivers. Take a moment to appreciate the scale of Cosmos’ ambition. Its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol is revolutionising how we think about crypto connectivity. Projects that once operated in silos can now collaborate seamlessly, unlocking new possibilities for innovation. Imagine an NFT minted on one blockchain being seamlessly traded or utilised on another. That’s not just theory—it’s happening, thanks to Cosmos. Cosmos’ scalability and energy efficiency also make it a standout. In an era where environmental concerns are at the forefront of Cosmos's mind, Cosmos’ eco-friendly approach is more than just a bonus; it’s a necessity. Add in its strong community support and growing list of partnerships, and it’s clear why Cosmos remains one of the best altcoins to buy this weekend. Cosmos’ journey hasn’t been without challenges, but its resilience is undeniable. As blockchain adoption grows, Cosmos’ role as the connective tissue of the crypto world becomes even more critical. For investors seeking a balance of innovation and stability, $ATOM is a no-brainer. Filecoin ($FIL): The Decentralised Storage King When it comes to data storage, Filecoin is the boss. Launched in 2017, Filecoin revolutionised how we think about digital storage by decentralising it. Instead of relying on giants like Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud, Filecoin leverages blockchain to create a network of independent storage providers. The result? Lower costs, higher security, and a fairer playing field. Filecoin’s native token, $FIL, is the grease that keeps this machine running. Users pay $FIL to store their data, while providers earn it by offering space. It’s a simple yet ingenious model that’s been a hit with both tech enthusiasts and investors. Over the years, Filecoin has grown into one of the most trusted names in decentralised storage, making it a go-to alternative for those looking to hedge against traditional investments. What makes Filecoin particularly exciting right now is its focus on scaling. As more companies and individuals seek secure, decentralised solutions, Filecoin’s network is poised for exponential growth. And let’s not forget its partnerships. From collaborations with NFT platforms to integrations with DeFi projects, Filecoin proves that storage isn’t just a backend necessity; it’s a critical piece of the Web3 puzzle. The rise of data-intensive applications like AI and the metaverse is another tailwind for Filecoin. Imagine a future where these technologies rely on decentralised storage networks to ensure security and scalability. Filecoin isn’t just preparing for that future; it’s building it. Investing in Filecoin isn’t just about betting on a token; it’s about believing in a future where data is free from corporate control. With $FIL trading at attractive levels, there’s never been a better time to add it to your portfolio. After all, who wouldn’t want a piece of the decentralised data revolution? Conclusion: Why These Altcoins Should Be on Your Radar Each project—Qubetics, Cosmos, and Filecoin—brings something unique. Whether it’s Qubetics’ presale buzz, Cosmos’ seamless blockchain integration, or Filecoin’s game-changing approach to storage, there’s no shortage of reasons to get excited. And with the crypto market heating up, these are undoubtedly the best altcoins to buy this weekend. But here’s the kicker: timing is everything. The council advises the president on economic policy and is composed of three members, including the chair. The council assists in the preparation of an annual report that gives an overview of the country's economy, reviews federal policies and programs and makes economic policy recommendations. Earlier this year, Miran and economist Nouriel Roubini authored a hedge fund study that said the U.S. Treasury last year effectively provided economic stimulus by moderating long-dated bond sales. The study echoed suggestions by Republican lawmakers that the Treasury deliberately increased issuance of short-term Treasury bills to give the economy a "sugar high" ahead of the November elections. The Treasury denied any such strategy. Miran, a senior strategist at Hudson Bay Capital, has also argued that fears over trade tariffs that Trump has threatened to impose after he takes office next month are overblown. Trade and economic experts have said such duties would raise prices and would effectively be a new tax on consumers. Last month, Trump tapped Kevin Hassett, who was a key economic adviser in his first term, to chair his National Economic Council, which helps set domestic and international economic policy. Hudson Bay Capital took a position in Trump's social media firm Trump Media & Technology in the first quarter of this year.

French President Emmanuel Macron began his latest search for a prime minister on Friday as the center-left Socialists signaled they were open to joining a broad government coalition, sparking tensions inside an increasingly fragile leftwing bloc. Macron this week rejected demands to resign to resolve France's political crisis, saying conservative prime minister Michel Barnier had been driven from office by the far right and extreme left's "anti-republican front". "We came to say we want left-wing policies with a left-wing prime minister and that this is the message that he (Macron) now needs to understand after he picked Michel Barnier," Socialist Party chairman Olivier Faure said after meeting the president. In a sign of shifting political tides, Faure said he was ready to back a broader government as "everyone could see" the current political gridlock was harming France, but added that he could not work with another rightwing prime minister "under any circumstance". Seeking a way out of the political paralysis that followed snap elections this summer, Macron's allies tried for months to drive a wedge through the leftwing alliance known as the New Popular Front (NFP), urging the socialists to cut ties with the more radical France Unbowed (LFI). LFI's firebrand leader Jean-Luc Melenchon slammed Faure for talking to the president, saying in a social media post: "Nothing of what he's doing is in our name or the name of the NFP." In a prime time address on Thursday, Macron said he would announce a new prime minister in the coming days to replace Barnier, who was ousted in a no-confidence vote by lawmakers angered by his belt-tightening 2025 budget bill. But it remains to be seen how Macron can cobble together enough support in parliament to pass the budget, or install a prime minister with any sort of longevity. France's budget deficit has spiralled upwards this year, worrying financial markets, but the failure to agree a plan to rein it in has seen French borrowing costs jump higher still. The Socialists, a moderate leftist grouping with 66 seats in the National Assembly, voted to topple Barnier this week, but could emerge as crucial kingmakers. If Macron can win their backing, a new prime minister would likely have the numbers to stave off no-confidence motions from Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally and other parts of the left. Faure said that Macron should also seek to bring in the Greens and Communists. Macron, who sparked France's festering political crisis in June by calling the snap election that delivered a hung parliament, was defiant in his address to nation on Thursday. "I'm well aware that some want to pin the blame on me for this situation, it's much more comfortable," he said. But he said he would "never bear the responsibilities" of lawmakers who decided to bring down the government just days before Christmas. Their sole motivation, he added, was the 2027 presidential election, "to prepare for it and to precipitate it." The next government would pursue a 2025 budget bill early in the new year, he said, so that "the French people don't pay the bill for this no-confidence motion."

12 Industrials Stocks Moving In Friday's Pre-Market SessionThe walls of Central High School have witnessed generations of standout athletes, each leaving their mark on the playing field. Yet, in recent memory, few have commanded as much attention as one relentless running back with game-changing speed and a punishing style that embodies “bully ball.” For the past four years, Gabe Fields has been the pride of the Central Indians and now, his journey takes him to college football's grandest stage: the SEC Conference, where he’ll don the black and gold of Vanderbilt University. “It’s crazy to think about, I mean, after a lot of long nights and working hard, lots of tears,” Fields said. “All of that, I mean, finally made it happen.” Fields took full advantage of the early signing period of National Signing Day, officially becoming a Commodore. Vanderbilt’s running backs coach, Ghaali Muhammad-Lankford, a former Central standout, has been pursuing Fields since coaching at New Mexico State, making this signing a full-circle moment for the local star. I grew up with Ghaali and so, you know, we've had a really good friendship through our whole life and, you know, kind of seeing Gabe grow through high school, it reminded me a lot of him,” Central football coach Sheldon Farrell said. Fields has dreamed of reaching football's biggest stage since second grade, and that ambition carried him through high school. Initially part of coach Farrell’s quarterback group, Fields’ versatility soon revealed his natural fit at running back, leading to a pivotal conversation with his coach, during which he declared his goal to play at the SEC level. The running back never wavered in his pursuit, channeling his determination into becoming one of Central’s most dynamic athletes. “He's really dedicated, you know. I think a lot of kids have that dream of playing Division I and go the NFL,” Farrell said. “But then the work that goes into it to get there, I mean, talent only gets you so far, so I think that’s where there’s a difference, in my opinion, of Gabe and other athletes I’ve seen.” Felds’ dedication ignited as he flipped through Central’s record books, finding inspiration in names like Ghaali Muhammad, John Deleon, and Phillip Harrison. Determined to etch his own name among the legends, Fields left a legacy during his senior year, breaking the single-game rushing yards (474) and rushing touchdowns (8) against Excelsior Springs, along with another handful of accolades. “My freshman and sophomore year, I would look at the record books and be like, man, like, I want to go get those records one day,” Fields said. “Just to be able to be in the same conversation as those guys is amazing.” As Fields’ career as a Central Indian winds to a close, he hopes the mark he left on the football field inspires the next generation of athletes. “I hope I left behind hope for the youth, just to show them that anybody can make it out of anywhere,” Fields said. “I remember being told growing up and just even when I was here, like, ‘man, you need a transfer,’ but man, it’s just, it’s a blessing to show people that you can make it from anywhere.”
