More info This series of I’m A Celebrity... has already proved one of the most explosive yet - the opening episode alone including stomach-churning cocktails, cockroaches, skydiving, dinner a la kangaroo anus, former boxing champ Barry McGuigan being totally unable to complete a task and Danny Jones getting a ‘trouser snake’ . The pace, to be honest, hasn’t really let up since. And for anyone who has been following the fast-moving action Down Under, and one specific WAG’s reactions to it, there seems to have been a distinct thawing in the famously frosty relations between Rebekah Vardy and her supposed arch nemesis, Coleen Rooney . Initially rather caustic about the 38-year-old’s jungle experience in her daily no-holds-barred newspaper diary about the show, Rebekah, who has clashed in court with the fellow footballer’s wife more than once over their notorious Wagatha Christie scandal , seems to be rethinking her take on things. But it seems the feeling may not be mutual. And when the reality show draws to a close, Coleen, who has proved extremely popular and tipped by many to leave as Queen of the Jungle, returns home from Australia, her reported resolve to have nothing to do with Rebekah could be stronger than ever. “In Coleen’s mind, her war with Becky is over and all she wants is for Becky to pay her bill and then she will never have to think about her again," a source claimed. "But Becky can’t let it go - and Coleen will find it hilarious, and somewhat tragic, about Becky’s constant mentioning of her.” Jamie Vardy ’s wife, 42, initially took aim at Coleen at the start of the series, kicking off by gleefully taking aim at Coleen when she sank in the river during the opening task - writing: “Coleen sank in the river twice. It's the gift that keeps on giving.” The mum-of-six also started as she meant to go on when it came to her own social media. As Coleen entered camp, Rebekah posted a snap of herself relaxing in a pink bikini with her eyes closed, captioning it: "The feeling when you are living rent free in people's heads." alongside a laugh-crying and a winking emoji. She also accused Coleen – who reportedly is being paid a record £1.5m for her appearance – of “following in her footsteps” because she had “always wanted [Vardy’s] life.” But more recently, having previously called Coleen ‘dull’ and sharing her hopes that the campmate would be forced to 'eat penis or humble pie ', she appeared to heap praise on the Liverpudlian mum-of-three, after she smashed an epic Bushtucker Trial. Coleen was widely praised and called a ‘warrior’ by viewers for keeping her cool during a grim Absolute Car-nage trial with Northern Irish DJ Dean McCullough, which saw her totally covered in cockroaches and rats. Writing in her The Sun column, Rebekah penned: 'It's blowing a gale at home but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle. Luckily it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage and they managed to get nine stars." She added, 'I’m applauding Coleen. She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches and rats crawled all over her.' Rebekah’s seeming U-turn shocked many, but our source added, “It seems to have backfired on Becky, as many of the comments were telling her to grow up and get over it. Coleen is proving very popular with everyone and coming across better than many thought she would. So, it’s no wonder Becky is trying to praise her now, after spending days slating her.” "Becky is also aware of all the backlash she has been getting for slating Coleen so has decided on a change of tack. If Becky wants a long career, she knows she needs to be seen as more than the pantomime villain and a rent-a-gob. Her praising Coleen is an attempt to reach out to her and show everyone she is fair and can give praise when it’s deserved. She says she also wants to move on from it all but she can’t do that if she continues to take aim at Coleen.’ Meanwhile, Coleen seems to be getting on with things in the Australian jungle and viewers have admired her warm, resilient, no-nonsense nature. Having touched on her epic court battle with Rebekah early on, she seems happy to leave all talk of Rebekah Vardy in the past, instead delighting viewers with other insights, such as her marriage to football manager Wayne, the sometimes crazy llfe of a WAG - and a memorable meeting with President Donald Trump. In one eye-opening campfire confessional, Coleen branded Trump a 'dirty b**tard' after he told his son when they met that she was proof that 'all the soccer players get the good looking girls'. She made the shock revelation to fellow contestants as she spoke about her time living in Washington DC in 2018, when Wayne was head coach at DC United. And our source claims that Coleen’s stance on Rebekah following her seeming olive branch will not have changed one iota during her jungle stint, and she wants to draw a line under it, once and for all. “Coleen just wants Becky to shut up, leave her alone and get on with her life. She has no intention of ever talking about all that drama again – that’s why she did the book and documentary, so that her story is out there.” They added, "She has said to friends, 'I won't forgive Becky' and can't just forget everything she's put her through. ‘She’ll never get over how Becky has behaved and continues to behave.'" Moreover, the source maintains that taking part in the hit ITV show - the first time the public have really seen Coleen and what she’s all about in this light - will be the making of her, and she is excited for what’s next . “She can’t wait to see what happens after. Her main aim was to make her boys proud and she will definitely feel that she has. Because Coleen is such a kind person, she’ll probably end up feeling sorry for Becky because she looks quite sad and nasty in all of her videos - it’s not going to do her any favours. Whereas, Coleen will be the winner once again, regardless of whether she is crowned Queen of the Jungle or not.” Meanwhile, a separate source close to Rebekah told OK!, “Becky is reviewing what she sees on IAC, that’s all. She is doing a job to give an opinion/insight into the jungle, I wouldn’t read anything more into than this.” Coleen’s highly-anticipate jungle stint comes after the 2022 Wagatha Christie in which Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her, allegations which Rebekah has strongly denied - however, in July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true". A judge last month ruled that Rebekah would be handed an extra £100,000 cost on top of the £1.8 million she’s already been told to pay Coleen.

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. (AP) — A Tennessee man was convicted Thursday of killing two men and wounding a third in a shooting at a high school basketball game three years ago. Jadon Hardiman, 21, was found guilty in Gibson County of charges including second-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, district attorney Frederick Agee said in a statement. He faces up to 76 years in prison at sentencing in April. Hardiman, of Jackson, attended a basketball game between Humboldt and North Side high schools on Nov. 30, 2021. Then 18, Hardiman entered the Humboldt gymnasium's crowded concession area and pulled a semi-automatic .40 caliber handgun, prosecutors said. He fired three shots at Justin Pankey, a 21-year-old former Humboldt basketball player. Pankey was hit one time and died within seconds, Agee said. A second bullet hit Xavier Clifton, a former North Side student and basketball player, who was standing in the concession line. Clifton was shot in the neck and paralyzed. He died in March 2022. A third shot struck another man in the back of the head. He survived. “Many people were placed in fear of imminent bodily injury by Hardiman’s shooting, as shown by video footage of their fleeing into the gym, into bathrooms, and other areas of the school,” Agee said. Hardiman ran away and drove to Jackson, disposing of the murder weapon along the way, the district attorney said. The U.S. Marshals Service contacted his family, and he was arrested the next day. Agee said the shooting "frightened every adult, student, and child present, who were only there to support their team and enjoy a good game.” Hardiman's lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.Hand Surgery Market Forecast: Size, Share, Growth, Key Drivers and Regional Trends for 2024 to 2031 |

TikTok's obsession with matcha has appeared to create a shortage of the tea in Japan. TikTok's most popular tea brands appear to be hit hard. The smooth, bright green powder plays a central role in Japanese tea ceremonies, and while it takes only a few seconds to dissolve in water, it can take an . Matcha production has remained consistent, but sharp increases in demand driven by social media have created a strain on the industry, . Megumi Kanaike, manager of Simply Native, a tea shop in Sydney said that producers of the highest-quality matcha in Kyoto, Japan, recently increased prices by up to 40%, which is the first price hike in many years, according to . "You'll probably notice prices in cafés start to go up as well," she says. Kanaike's shop announced limits on online matcha purchases because of the shortage, she told the outlet earlier this month. "Several suppliers have told us they're pausing production and putting a stop on any future orders," she said. Marukyu Koyamaen, a brand that is often featured in popular "matcha haul" TikTok videos, shows that it is completely sold out of on its website. Zach Mangan, owner of a Brooklyn-based tea company, Kettl, told a. Marukyu Koyamaen representative told him the company did "roughly six months of sales in a little less than a month." Marukyu Koyamaen and TikTok did not immediately return requests for comment from Business Insider about the reported matcha shortage. TikTok influencers traveling to Japan to try the country's authentic matcha have also reported having a hard time finding it once they arrive. One TikTok video shows a sign at a Japanese matcha shop that says the shop sold too much in the summer months and "ran out of raw materials." "Due to the stricter purchase restrictions, the quantities available to our shop are now very low," the sign reads. "As a result, it should be extremely difficult to purchase matcha until next year's new tea harvest. This situation is the same in Kyoto, Tokyo, and everywhere else in Japan." Inside Japan, matcha consumption had been on a decline for the past few decades, with consumption rates dropping from 1,174 grams per household in 2001 to 844 grams in 2015, according to . In the US, sales of matcha have reached more than $10 billion in the last 25 years, according to the outlet. Some creators on "#matchatok" have also reported harassment and bullying from people on TikTok who blame their overconsumption and promotion of matcha for the ongoing shortage. One matcha creator called , with more than 62,000 followers, said in a video that her physician and her therapist told her to turn off TikTok comments because of all the negativity she has received. "Yes, there may be a matcha shortage for the brands that you like purchasing from, but that does not mean that all matcha is gone," she says in the video. Kithumini added in the video that she recently went to a café that was selling Marukyu Koyamaen matcha and that "even aside from that brand, there are so many good brands out there." "So many of y'all out there are making other people's matcha consumption your business," she says in the video. "No, that's just between that person's caffeine tolerance and their wallet, not you." Read the original article onRIYADH, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The first phase of Riyadh Metro was launched on Wednesday, a significant step to reshape the Saudi capital's public transport landscape. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the project, which is expected to become Riyadh's public transport network backbone. The Riyadh Metro includes six train lines spanning 176 km and 85 stations, including four main hubs. The SPA reported that three lines will open to the public on Dec. 1, with "gradual launches" completing the network across the city. During the inauguration, the king said the Riyadh Public Transport Project, which spans metro and bus networks, was launched following studies conducted by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City on the capital's current and future public transport needs. Riyadh Metro is the second metro system in Saudi Arabia after the first metro line in Mecca, which operates only during the Hajj season. Once fully operational, the Riyadh Metro is expected to be the largest in the world to be completed in a single phase, and the world's longest driverless metro line. It is tailored to meet Riyadh's social, environmental, and urban requirements, which is expected to significantly contribute to the city's urban mobility needs, the SPA said.
